Right color on bottle. My mistake
I made a dumb mistake and apologize. I thought 8N was lighter than 9N and mixed the wrong color. I am really very sorrry. Wella products have been excellent and again I apologize.Been using this Wella 8N light blonde for several years. My hair is light blonde, covering gray. Just dyed my roots and about 40 minutes into waiting for it to process (45 min is wait time) I looked in the mirror and the roots were BLACK! I quickly washed out the black and now my hair is crazy looking. Will call Wella when they open to find out what the heck happened; obviously a machine malfunction. I just read earlier about the same thing happening to another person, but never thought it would happen to me. Wella, as far as I know, has not issued a recall on this product. I am returning the other bottles to Amazon. Won’t be buying Wella anymore. Back to Clairol. Hope my hairdresser can fix the problem.

9n exact color as shown on box
Color comes out the same color thatâs on the box. The 9n is a warm dirty blonde just like the box. I put it on natural and bleached hair and both were golden dirty blonde. Not my fav color, saw other reviews and assumed it would come out lighter but with 20 vol developer and 35 mins of it on, it came out the exact color of the box, which I guess is a good thing.

This is for high lift
Even so . I use it now ( because ive been using it for so long ) to cover grey. I mix it with a 20v now and the lift is still nice where I need it . And its actually depositing the color over my grey which i love . . Cant say enough good things about Color Charm!!! Never displeased.

Turned out very dark on blonde hair
The hair dye is good. However, I used 8ng on my blonde hair thinking it would match. Unfortunately, it turned out dark brown. Sigh, waiting for it to fade.

Only three quarters full.
There seems to have been some evaporation during storage as the bottle was only about 3/4 full. I adjusted the amount of developer and had barely enough to complete the job. Itâs a very good color that I will order again but⦠Next time if it isnât full, I will return.

I have naturally dark hair and I wanted to go a shade lighter and this shade paired with a toner did the perfect job! I did my research before select8ng the color I was looking for, but I was able to get salon color quality hair done at home (by my hubby) lol and honestly, I was stopped numerous times by people telling me how much they love my hair color! Highly recommended, but absolutely do some research before hand to select your shade and what toner works best with that color!! A lot of salons actually use these colors so you may be able to ask for the proper mix!

Used it on my wifeâs hair. Was not aware it required a not included developer which I fortunately had on hand. Made a thick easy to apply gel and hair colour was perfect. Will use it again as I have lots of developer.

I just highlighted my own hair and used this toner for the first time. I like this colour, left on for 20 min and mixed w 20 vol developer. Prob could have left on for 30, next time I will to see the result. But this colour is like a California blonde, has nice warm tones. My hair is naturally red so I like that it brings out red tone in the low light. Have used T11 w good results as well. It seems a little warmer than this. T10 turned my hair grey/ purple tone not my thing. I just wanted to post a pic because I couldnât find many when I was looking into this toner. Will buy again!
