Easy to hold onto
I wish I had bought this years ago! It really helps to get knots out of my shoulders. It is quite powerful and came out of box half charged so we were able to use it right away. The triangular handle makes it easy to hold onto.

I’ve had massage guns in the past, but this one takes the cake. USB-C charging and the charge lasts quite a while. Beware, it’s strong! I almost always use the lowest setting and it’s still a bit intense from time to time. Still worth it and use it almost daily

Solid, high-quality massager
This is a great massager. I use it on any sore spots. It has a powerful motor with a high stopping force. The battery lasts more than long enough. How did I get by without this?

Unauthorized retailer! No warranty! Stopped working after 2 months.
The massager’s strength is good, and that’s its only positive quality. The power on/off and control system is just ridiculous. It doesn’t turn on the first time; you have to switch it on and off several times. After two months, it stopped working altogether. It just twitches once and doesn’t start, details are in the video. Customer support simply doesn’t respond. It turns out I just paid $350 to use the massager for a short time. I strongly suggest paying attention to the numerous reviews mentioning that the massager stops working. Apparently, this is not an exception but a rule. I do not recommend buying it.Finally the Therabody support responses:âAccording to the provided proof of purchase, your device was purchased from an unauthorized retailer. Remember that the only authorized Therabody shop from Amazon is the Theragun shop. THERAGUN V. HYPERVOLT PRO!
So I have had the privilege of owning both the Hypervolt and this 5th Gen. I will make it simple.The Hypervolt has approximately 1/4 inch less travel than the 5th Gen. It relies on higher RPM’s , so it’s method of action is vibrating your muscles into submission. The Theragun JACKHAMMERS muscles with brute force! But with about a thousand RPMs less. So if you want a little more gentle vibration every muscles, then get the Hypervolt. If you want to be the living snot out of your muscles, then me 5th gen is for you.On that note, the only thing I can’t stand about this 5th gen is the awful battery! It literally only lasts about 45 minutes at full tilt. Hope this helps. 🙂

Use this all the time
My girlfriend and I use this all the time, it really helps with sore muscles. There was a bit of a learning curve in the sense of what feels best but it didn’t take long to find what works. The battery is relatively long lasting. For example, If I use it for about 30min a day, I would need to charge it about once a week depending on the pressure I’m applying and speed it’s on. High pressure and high speed would probably need a charge every few days. Still, it’s more than enough to get through whatever you need in a single session. Highly recommended!

You get what you pay for
From the packaging to the device, you can see and feel the quality. Had it and used it for couple of weeks and I can tell it will performa better than expected. SImple ROI: how much would you pay for trigger point therapy, acupressure, etc? This device can do close to these therapies in the convenience of your home. You can work on tendons, ligaments, and large muscles. Obviously research these therapies first. But definately recommend.
