Great Book Full of Information for Everyone
This book is full of science. I am going to keep it But it has funny smell like new book paper smell & the print is way too small for me even with my glasses. ð¤ She really details every question you may have about skin, hair, products & development of products. I must admit I wish she recommended products as I have dry sensitive skin at 72 & am clueless about where to start with any products. We as consumers are faced with a Billion Dollar industry anything to have us buy their products. YouTube is full of âInfluencersâ. Reviews are full of âVine Customer’sâ who almost never have negative comments. In the age of the internet everyone is exposed to people who look like they discovered the fountains of youth. The reality is that filters, dermatologists, plastic surgeons & Ozempic( a drug for Diabetes Type 2) created their perfection not some creams you apply. I am a RN as well so I do understand that. This book is big & full of valuable information. In this day with most people having little to no attention span I will say you need to devote time & attention to the material in the book. I would like more pictures too, who wouldnât. I actually am looking forward to any other books Dr Wong writes & I am going to seek out her YouTube videos. The one I did see her husband gave a review too. It was cute.ð¥°

Great book backed by science
I love this book. I’m really into the scientific side of beauty and this book is really informative. I’ve even looked up some info in the book that I was skeptical about and found peer-reviewed articles supporting the information that proved me wrong! Definitely buy if you want to know if you’re wasting money on skincare fads

Good book for skincare enthusiasts
I love everything about skincare. You can say that I am obsessed, I follow the writer on Instagram and was intrigued to find out she has a book. I bought because I also want to learn the science behind everything. By the way I am not a beginner in skincare, I pretty much know a lot that can be learned about basic and intermediate skincare and I really enjoyed this book. It was very informative.

Clean and highly detailed illustrations aid understanding
Don’t you hate it when science textbooks use diagrams that look like they were made in Microsoft PowerPoint 2007? Or worse, they’re so cluttered and poorly labeled, they become an illegible mess after photocopying? Not a problem here. It’s a gorgeous book and full of so many interesting things I always wanted to know about skin and hair.

Good information, but much of it is already available on her social media accounts
Iâve learned a lot from Dr Wongâs social media accounts and decided to buy her book. After watching so many of her videos, I donât think I found anything new-to-me in the book. However, I do appreciate the information she shares and am happy to pay the cost of the book as a way to support her efforts.

Amazing book!! I got it 2 hours ago and went through it so quickly!First, it is beautiful. The colors are great, the graphics are at the same time beautiful and so clear. The titles are explicits, explainations are easy to understand and clear. It is a masterpiece of science communication, making a very complexe scientific subject at the same time understandable and useful.I follow the authorâs youtube page and enjoy so much having all the informations at the same place. Shoutout to Michelle Wong it is a great book.
