Big Interest in Big Aircraft Carrier!
We bought this as one of our son’s third birthday presents as he is currently into all things aircraft – and he LOVES it. It is produced in a very easily-digestible kid format with title screens in multi colors and things explained very well in easy terms for children, with the narrator being a child herself. Although aimed at kids, it’s also interesting for adults alike and gives a great insight into the goings-on on a modern day aircraft carrier. We were lucky enough to be able to time giving this to our son to watch in the car on the trip down to San Diego, with a surprise visit to the USS Midway aircraft carrier museum based there – safe to say he was in heaven! Thoroughly recommended.

Can you give more stars than 5? I wish you could. This is a fantastic film for kids crazy about ships, aircraft carriers and all things Naval. Our youngsters love it! Even our older kids (11 and 13) like it, too! Can you please make more like this?!

Detail Packed For 36 Minutes
This documentary of The Big Aircraft Carrier packed an abundance of details just in the 36 minute timeslot. This documentary is for all ages as well as the narrator of the documentary sounds like a very young kid who narrated this edition with impressive enthusiasm. I was stationed in Norfolk Virginia for part of 2008 and part of 2009 and I reluctantly admit that I was hoping for some footage pertaining to any aircraft carriers in Virginia. However, I am still glad to have obtained this documentary and found it both engaging and informative. Aircraft carrier footage takes place on the USS Nimitz.
