So I am actually using both the shampoo and conditioner, and so far, these products seem to be helping my issue. I randomly got this very, VERY dry flaky spot on the upper part of one of my sideburns maybe the size of a dollar coin. I truly had (and still have) no idea what it was or if it was even related to dandruff, but decided to try a couple of anti-dandruff shampoos (i.e. Head & Shoulders, and Selsun Blue) which both failed. Then I found this product along with the conditioner, and decided to try it out. At the time of writing this, tomorrow will be a week using these products together and already I am seeing GREAT improvement; the flakes have significantly decreased to where none actually fall when I scratch (which most definitely was not the case for weeks) and the itchiness also is ~95% better. Additionally, I have noticed a great feel to my hair (I have thick, straight, course hair for anyone interested in knowing), and while I do keep it short most of the time, it grows fast so I can still feel the difference. It seems softer and definitely feels clean. Lastly, my biggest worry was the apple cider vinegar considering I HATE the smell of vinegar, but it is actually very mild, and overall the scent is nice. So to anyone also considering that, this definitely does not have a vinegar scent to it. I definitely recommend, even to those not suffering with dandruff; The ingredients seem pretty good and it is helping my hair, not just my scalp.

Hair is soft and scalp is less itchy
I was lucky enough to get to try out the SheaMoisture Anti-Dandruff Conditioner. I didn’t have the accompanying shampoo but used one that also has apple cider. I get really itchy scalp in the winter no matter what I do. I’ve used Head and Shoulders as well as various other brands that claim to combat itchiness and although they do work for the most part, it doesn’t take care of it completely. After using the conditioner and having good results, I decided to buy the matching shampoo and I couldn’t be happier.I have long hair that isn’t thick but isn’t really thin either. I stopped dyeing my hair about 7 years ago so it’s unprocessed. I only recently started using products outside of shampoo and conditioner and started blow drying for volume instead of letting my hair air dry like I used to. When applying this, I concentrated on the scalp and when rinsing, let it run through the ends of my hair. My hair and scalp felt soft and clean. As far as fragrance, I couldn’t detect any myself. Any scent it has is very mild. It makes my hair look and feel great and there is less itching. I would purchase again.

A definite replacement for Extra Strength T-Gel – Finally Relief !!
Have been looking for a replacement for the incredibly expensive Extra Strength T-Gel which has been discontinued, Their regular strength doesn’t work at all, BUT this product has solved the problem. And it doesn’t have that nasty coal tar in it, which I’m convinced relieves symptoms but in the end makes your scalp itchy so you have to use more (much the same way that lawn fertilizer feeds your lawn and than kills it with salt deposits so you have to keep re-applying it – you don’t make a multi-billion dollar industry without making people constantly purchase your product). So many suffer from dandruff and itchy scalp, I hope this helps some of you, because it’s very tough when nothing works – this worked first day.

Happy scalp, but makes my showers so much longer
This product has made my scalp much happier. I workout daily, but only wash scalp every other day. My scalp was starting to get itchy (probably from sweat), so I switched to this shampoo and the itch is gone even on day 2.However…. I have to shampoo 3 times to be sure that my whole scalp got shampooed. This product is incredibly difficult to spread through your hair. I have to use so much of the product that I would have to re-buy much more often than other shampoos.I already hate the process of washing my hair and how long it takes. So, the fact that I have to wash so many times with this makes my showers even longer. For that reason, I won’t be repurchasing (despite my scalp and hair feeling great).

Works great for keeping dandruff under control
My spouse struggles with bad dandruff and this has helped reduce it so much. It doesn’t cure it all the way, but keeps mild-bad dandruff under control. We do a medicated shampoo once a week or every other week, and use this the rest of the time, and that has worked super well. It’s not super runny like other medicated shampoos I’ve used, and lathers up pretty well.

Unfortunately it didn’t work for me. I also don’t see in the ingredients there being any apple cider vinegar which is a bummer since they claim that they do. My dandruff is still there, my head is still itchy and it sucks!!

Hair started growing again
Although I care for my semi-coarse curly hair, there always seems to be a place where it stops growing a little below my shoulders. I now realize it was related to my intermittent dandruff and dry scalp. However, since using this for two months, I’ve gotten as much hair growth in two months as in one year, and finally made it so my hair is touching almost mid shoulder blades. I’ve never seen hair growth like this. I’ve been consistent with my other hair care and my diet/vitamins. I use the whole system together, and it’s a game changer. I use the leave-in at least once a day for maintenance, but I used it twice daily for the first few weeks to clear up dandruff and dry skin. Absolutely amazing stuff. I’ve posted this review on the conditioner and leave-in, but I want to share the good news. Hopefully it works as well for you as me.
