So I have to admit that Iâm a beginner nail enthusiast, and Iâm a little embarrassed to admit that I didnât realize that this file was for the top of the nail. I initially thought this was just a glass file that was like any other traditional file. I actually loved that itâs for the top of your nail, and it gives a perfect simple glassy look with absolutely no polish. I really love that it comes with an attatched case, the only downside is that only one side of the file has the glass side with the enamel. The other side is just glass with the brand name printed. It works really well for a beginner though and I really love the simple clean glassy look it gives.

If you want to buff your nails, to a shine, that lasts until your nails grow out buy this file! My friends and sisters love it and we have been buying them as gifts, for everyone we know! This file is great!

Works great for me
Iâll admit that I am not a nail person. Iâve never had a professional manicure or pedicure, never worn artificial nails, and own no nail polishes. But like every other human, I want to keep my nails healthy and in a decent shape. This glass nail file works great for me. It makes quick work of reshaping my nails in a pleasing form and easily smooths any snags or sharp areas of my fingernails. Iâm honestly impressed at how easy it is to use. Iâm not sure why only one side is for filing while the other side is smooth – are you supposed to use the smooth side somehow? It doesnât really matter to me, as the rough side does the job very well. Iâm not sure why people donât like it, but maybe the variation in hardness and shaping of the individual nails makes a difference. I am very satisfied with its performance on my boring nails.

I was not really happy with the filing side of the mail file. Then I was surprised there was nothing on the opposite side of which to file my nails. So I wish I had ordered another. It was a toss up of 2 or 3 stars
