Clever toy your cat will LOVE and great value
Hours of entertainment, really well made cat toy. Iâve had this toy for a month now and my two new rambunctious 2 year old shelter cats love it. Easy to assemble. Multiple settings for speed and and upper and lower play options are clever. Best thing is, it turns off if cats stop playing and reactivates if they touch it again later. Sometimes I walk by and tap it with my foot to get it going if the cats are bored. The battery lasts forever and charges with provided USB cord so quickly. I removed the skirt thing after the first day because they were scared and didnât understand how to play. Recently added it back and they love that now. Honestly the best cat toy youâll buy and great value. Indestructible and I think they offer parts like the feather thing which eventually does get chewed up. Bonus the instructions are easy to read with good graphics.

Great affordable, intelligently-designed battery-powered cat toy. Between the two functions your cat is sure to get into one of them.I initially thought the ‘blanket’ was more like an actual rug in texture, but it’s more like a synthetic fiber/plastic. Probably for the best because it makes more noise this way, but it is definitely a ‘cheap’ material.However for the price, it’s still excellent, and the actual mechanisms feel like good quality. It’s stood up to abuse from one of my larger cats already.Battery life seems to go on for a while, I didn’t charge it that long and he’s still played with it for over four hours already. The fact he’s played with it this long and not gotten bored or wanted to rest speaks volumes haha, he’s having a lot of fun.Assembly and functionality are easy as long as you read over the small included manual. No complaints, satisfied cat.

I have two very active cats. I love to play with them, but unfortunately, life has other requirements of me than to shake a mouse on a spring (that’s Lieutenant Wiggy-Wag) or shoot my hair ties around my apartment for the enjoyment of my cats. The sad and disappointed faces of my kitties after they wait, wiggling with anticipation for the tenth play session of the day, only to be disappointed when I have actual human things to do makes me feel terrible.Enter this thing, whatever it may be called in actuality, I call it cat heaven in a box. It fully charges in 2 hours, just as the company promises, and then – it provides rapturous delight for hours upon hours. My cats actually left their dinners in their dishes, food could not compare.From a human standpoint it is well-designed, well executed, and surprisingly sturdy. Someone really thought about what a cat would love. It has four modes – the feather moving erratically under the skirt mode, the butterfly fluting around like a maniac mode, the both feather and butterfly doing the things they do simultaneously mode, and feather and butterfly alternating every minute or so mode. There are three speeds: slow or fast or randomly moving like a speed devil and then moving like molasses. My cats adored the random speed and alternating movement settings. The feather goes around in a circle, randomly backing-up, and moving in and out, sometimes fully visible outside the skirt, sometimes gliding around under the skirt which drives the cats bonkers with joy. The butterfly floats around charmingly, with ribbons skimming along behind it; it occasionally bonks a cat in the face, but it’s so lightweight it’s more of a caress than a knock-out.Which brings me to the surprising fact that despite seeming lightweight and with what you might imagine to be fragile parts and a weak motor (most things charged by concrete bouncing, damaged USB don’t have the power to move a potato chip across a tabletop) the thing is sturdy as hunk of concrete and the motor is a beast. After 6 hours of attempted destruction by two cats smacking, pouncing on, lying on, and chewing on the parts: the butterfly, feather, and skirt, nothing broke or even got slightly damaged. The worst that happened (aside from running out of power after something like 6 hours of non-stop intense circling and twirling) was that the butterfly’s wire that holds it aloft was bent so that it skipped along the ground instead of floating through the air. But even thought it was bowed, it didn’t limp sadly along, it skimmed over the skirt a like a bat out of hell. And when it came time to recharge I was able to easily bend the wire back into shape so it will live to float again.It does come with an extra butterfly and a fish that can be subbed for the feather in case you have a house lion instead of house cats, and you can buy extra butterflies, fish and feathers for it at very reasonable prices if necessary.My cats fell into a deep slumber after after its power finally ran out; now, while it is charging they are both sitting on the ground like little sphinxes, attentively watching the spot on the floor where the toy was, ready to spring into action when it materializes again.In short, this is the best cat toy in existence. If my cats didn’t need me to plug in the charger and open cans of cat food, it would probably make me obsolete, but it makes me happy to see them having such a grand time.

Perfect cat toy
My cat is absolutely obsessed with this toy. We have had this toy for 6 days and she has played with it everyday single day. The battery holds a charge really well! I have charged it only when I got it and it has yet to run out. I like that the toy seems pretty durable as my cat can we rough with toys. This was a fantastic purchase. Been on my wishlist for months. I also like that the toy goes to sleep if she stops playing and will be on standby mode for I believe a few hours. Itâs great! The colorful mat on the toy is cute, itâs a good size as well and doesnât take up too much space.

My cat loves this. He can play with it for hours on end. Thereâs multiple settings. One for the feather on top, one for the feather under the mat, and one for both at the same time. Also multiple speed settings. My cat has chewed up the butterfly on top pretty good but they sell replacements. Looks cute and seems to be okay quality. We had to send one back because it just stopped working after a week (hence 4 stars) but the second one seems totally fine. The battery lasts an okay amount of time though I wish it was longer. I like that it turns back on automatically when the car engages with it, and that the mat is removable to be washed.

The short summary is if you’re wondering whether it’s worth spending the extra $$$ on this device, the answer is YES.I’ve owned several similar toys down the years and this is the only one of actual quality, and you can just feel it in the build. The battery charges quickly and lasts forever, and my cats will play with this far longer than any other toy they own, and trust me they own all the toys already. Zero interest in the butterfly mode, mind you, but it’s worth the investment just for the one function.My only criticism is the rubber “tail” on the “mouse” should be more rigidly attached to the ball unit, as it is prone to disappear under the mat, but the game works best when the “tail” is just poking out.Anyway, don’t buy the cheaper ones, buy this and you’ll actually save money not having to replace it every 2 years like all the others.

Unbelievable! It is the first toy that holds my orange cats attention! I have 3 very different cats and they all play with itâ¦endlessly. The motion sensor is the best feature if they have to be on their own for a bit.

I am unsure how this toy has held up for this long as she is non stop jumping on it, trying to flip it and digging at the cover, yet it is still in one piece… Except for the mousey toy which was torn off its fabric loop in about 5 seconds. Otherwise best kitty purchase I have made so far, love the option to buy replacement parts so I know I can fix it if needed

This is a well designed toy and my cat and I are both fans. It took her a while to warm up to the butterfly part of it but she LOVES the hide n seek part. In the information packet it mentions the company put a lot of testing into making sure the blanket was a good weight, etc to facilitate playing and I think it all really paid off. After watching the butterfly part a few times, my cat now loves chasing that too. The toy does run for a long time before the auto-shut-off kicks in which is kind of annoying, I feel like it could be shorter, but it’s fine.A couple weeks in, the toy malfunctioned and I reached out to the company about fixing it. Potaroma was great. They did figure out I didn’t order directly from them though, I had actually ordered from a third party seller – Ephesus Global. So I reached out to them and explained that the toy malfunctioned and the hide-n-seek part wasn’t working. They were also great – responsive, friendly, and helpful, and were quick to remedy things.Despite the malfunction (I wonder if the toy got kicked or something, the motor runs but the arm doesn’t spin with it so it seems like something got disconnected inside) the toy and the customer service from both companies have been 5 stars.
