Great for Dry Desert Air â My Sister Loves It!
I bought this facial steamer as a housewarming gift for my sister after she moved from Virginia to Arizona. Sheâs in her late 50’s and the desert air really dried out her skin, so I thought this would help give her skin a little extra care.It’s easy to use. She uses it a few nights a week and really likes how comforting the warm mist feels. It heats up fast and the steam leaves her skin feeling softer and more hydrated. The adjustable nozzle is handy â she can aim it exactly where she wants it without fuss.One thing she loves is the built-in aromatherapy option. She places a drop or two of her favorite rose or frankincense oil on the cotton pad it comes with, and says it makes her steam session feel like a mini spa treatment.She really looks forward to it after a long day. (Just a heads-up: the oils go on the pad, not in the water â itâs nice that the steamer is designed for that, so it wonât damage the tank.)She also mentions it helps clear her sinuses on dusty days, which has been a nice bonus she didnât expect.As for size, itâs compact enough for her small apartment bathroom, and since she doesnât have a lot of counter space, she stores it under the sink and just takes it out when she wants to use it. Very easy to use!
I like this steamer because it is uncomplicated! I use it every Sunday night. If I use it more, I find that my skin feels drier. It is relaxing and the steam feels nice. Sometimes I add a drop of rose essential oil. It also comes in handy if I get a stuffed nose. I really enjoy this steamer.

Overall Impression:The device functions and offers aromatherapy, but design is awkward.Rather inconvenient to use — I want easy machines, not something that takes this much effort.I would not purchase again. Not user friendly at all, so at any price, I think it’s a poor value.CONS:Poor instructions / missing steps.Lots of important safety warningsDifficult filling process due to a small opening.Must be filled at least ¼ full or it shuts off.Steam doesnât fully cover the face; requires head movement. Blast Doors
There is a warning sticker on one of the swinging clear plastic doors towards the rear about not touching the tank when in use. The warning should be closer to the front of the unit or highlighted in the manual. It does not state any warning in the manual about closing the blast doors when in use. There is nothing about the ozone switch in the manual either. I had to look up Ozone Facial Steamers on the web to read about it. The manual is very hard to read without a magnifying glass. Odd that the manual is printed on both sides in English. Usually one side is English and the other side is French / Spanish. The fill hole needs to be bigger. It is easy to overflow it when filling the unit. Awkward to get the water cup / tank out if there is still water in it. It does work as described and seems well made. The only problem I see is the two brown rubber seals on the nozzle. If they wear out or break where do you get new ones?

Amazing facial steamer!
I can finally write a fair review for this facial steamer, and I have to say that this is WAY better than the original one that I got. I’ve been using a facial steamer to open up my pores, and also address other facial concerns. The issue I have with my original one is that you can’t adjust the steamer at all. So if it’s shorter than where you need to position it, you need to get a book or box to have it up higher. Another thing I really hated was that there comes a point where the spout sprays out hot water, which is both uncomfortable and shocking lol. It’s happened to me recently where it hurts getting hot water droplets sprayed on my face.This steamer is easy to use and functions as intended! It was wrapped very well and it came with a brush cleaner to clean inside the device. You need to use either purified OR distilled water with this – I DO NOT RECOMMEND SINK/TAP WATER.After you fill the water up to the measuring line, it doesn’t take too long to warm up. The steam itself is a nice mist where you can position it how you like. It doesn’t rotate up or down, but it does rotate side to side. You can also adjust the height of the steam by twisting this plastic part up or down. There is also another side where I believe it’s more for the ozone option it has? I might need to read into it more.Once the machine is done or near the minimum water fill line, it shuts off completely. Super glad I was able to try out this machine because this will definitely come in handy!

Nice but could be improved
There are some things that strike me as a bit odd regarding this unit. The hole used to fill the water container from the top is unnecessarily narrow so filling it takes longer than it should. Itâs also not intuitive in its design, it took me a few tries to screw the plastic water container back in, Iâm worried that damaging the plastic in any way would render the unit useless. The emitted steam is very comfortable and you can use it lying down which is my preference when Iâm fighting a cold. The steam only has one temperature available but itâs a very comfortable kind of heat, not the gross sweaty kind. I enjoy it and itâs not bad for the $50 price tag. I do wish the design was more functional, you can disassemble it but itâs a weird shape to store away in your bathroom cabinet. It also has an initial plastic manufacturing odor so if youâre using it on a client you should let it air out first before using.
