Gentle Yet Effective â A Grooming Must-Have
This comb has been a game-changer for grooming my Exotic Shorthair cat. The long stainless steel pins glide through her dense coat without pulling, making it ideal for detangling and keeping mats at bay. Fantastic tool, and it is adjustable
Love it! I have a Maine Coon with very fine down and he develops small mats behind his front legs, in front of his rear legs, and sometimes on his belly. My old methods were not effective because he is more impatient than my previous Maine Coons. So I found this tool and thought I would try it.I was upset when I took it out because the blades face up instead of down. This makes it nearly impossible to use, even left-handed (and I am right-handed). For a cat, you will need to be behind him and rake towards yourself to maintain control. Well, I saw the nut on the top and bingo! Take the nut off and you can disassemble the comb and put the blades back on on in any of four ways you want! Now it works fantastically- best dematting tool I have ever used. So much easier than trying to pick them out with a wide comb or cut them out.

Good Dematting Comb
This is a good dematting comb, though a couple of severe matts had to be cut out, as the comb would not penetrate the matted fur. (I do not, however, blame this on the comb.) This comb worked well on all other areas of the Golden Retriever and it removed a lot of the shedding undercoat with minimal pulling and discomfort. It was light weight, easy to hold and was a good value for the money. One downside was I ended up being covered in fur; but it was used on a breed that goes through heaving shedding.

Weâre amazed by how well this comb works! Our Goldendoodle is prone to heavy matting, and every grooming session used to end with her completely shaved. After trying countless tools, we finally found this comb and it truly delivers. Her coat is now soft, smooth, and mat-free. Just be cautious, the blades are sharp, so use the thumb rest for safety while grooming. Iâm extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to other doodle owners!

Effective, but sharp
Yes itâs the best comb I have to brush my golden doodles thick curly fur! Combined with the bio silk for dogs detangle spray. I realize itâs so good cause itâs so sharp, I cut my finger cleaning the blade so be careful !

Works but bent easily
This comb works to get the dead hair out. My 4 year old shihpoo did not complain or run away when I used it on her. She did not have mats, just some thick hair that needed to be combed through. The first time I used it one of the teeth got bent to the side. I had to pull it back to align it with the rest of the teeth. Other than that, it worked well.

Suitable only for mild tangles in the fur of your pet. In case the fur has dense tangles or is completely matted, the best and only option is to trim the hair short going gently and carefully under the matting !

I have 2 cavapoos and 1 of them has straight up poodle fur which gets matted easily and I end up having to shave out the matts. The other ones fur is a mix but it works just as well and is amazing for his tail too which usually he hates having brushed. I figured I would give this a go and I’m definitely not disappointed. It was really easy to break up the matts and pain-free for my pups too. The design is great with the thumb hold it makes it a lot more comfortable to use and because the ends of the brush are rounded i dont worry about it accidentally hurting my boys. I even ended up buying 1 for my mum as she also has 2 cavapoos and she said its amazing the difference she sees from just using a regular brush to this. I do recommend getting a good brush as well though, because while this breaks the matts and knots up, its a lot easier to get rid of the residue by using a brush after breaking them up rather than doing it by hand. Without a doubt a well deserved 5 star.
