It works!
Did NOT expect these to be so spikey. So we gently put our cats paws onto them so they know how it feels and they watched me put them on my bookshelf after cutting to size. I removed them after a few weeks and the cats have not touched my books or gone onto the shelf!Got plenty left over too, definitely worth the price. Easily cut to whichever size you need and you can “stack” them to overlap. Worked great for us! Easy to use.

Pretty good deterrent
The mats are a pretty good deterrent to keep my cats off my kitchen counter tops. I definitely needed to cut them to cover every open spot or one of my cats still jumps up on them and just finds a tiny clear spot to go to, but the mats are easy to cut and shape to fit around things on the counter top. They are easy to lay out and then remove and stack and put away when not needed. Good product, good amount of mats you get for the price. I think it depends on how naughty your kitty is on how well these will work for you.

I have two cats that have decided my window frame needed widening. Since I disagreed with their assessment and communication with them has been completely ignored, I stopped talking and took action. First off, there were way more in this package than I anticipated. That being said, I am not unhappy about it. I cut these to size to rest on the windowsill and placed the planters on top of them instead of sticking because I am having replacements installed soon. (No, not because of the felines.) They cut easy even with my dull kitchen scissors, laid flat, and if I had measured differently, would overlap/stack for uninterrupted spikes. This is my first time, so itâs a learning curve, probably why they include so many in the box. They are lightweight, surprisingly pokey, and clear so itâs not that much of an eyesore. The plants rest on them without them collapsing, but they are succulents and not in huge pots. Something that will sit comfortably on a 6â windowsill. It only took an hour before the first repeat attempt at demolition occurred. It was immediately foiled! I was shocked to see a gentle touch to the spike, and then a complete 180 for the decision for destruction. The second attempt came shortly after by the second offender. This one took his time deciding if he could make it work. He found a kink in the chain. And I will be reinstalling them to overlap to prevent what the demon did. He stepped in the gap that was wider than I thought. They also fit nicely on the base of the open window and prevented him from scaling the screen to the open window! June bugs are the bane of his existence as well it would appear because he tried to get them, and was foiled again by pokeys! I want to put them everywhere now. If I thought my husband would let me, I would cover the tables with them to keep the tiny terrors off those spaces as well. Considering putting them on the couch where they think the threads need loosened. That might look way too weird for me though. I imagine they would tack into place well enough if I tried. For sure placing them on the floor around the washer and dryer, and the other window they think could use widening. If need be, would buy again!

It worked! Hallelujah!
This was the thing that finally (mostly) got our dog off the couches while we were gone. Pets are smart and they can see these, but we started putting blankets over the top and it only took one or two times for our dog to be scared of getting on the couch without permission. It will not injure your pet, but it is made of a thin plastic that definitely is uncomfortable to put your weight on. It sucks to not really be able to use the couches as much for a while but once our dog got the message he stayed away.

Purr-fect for deterring animals
I got these to try to keep my cat off the counters. Well, it didn’t work as well as I’d hoped. But it works ant keeping him off of chairs and the blanket stack we have in our living room. It also keeps our dogs out of anywhere we don’t want them to go. We keep them under our dining room table to prevent the dogs from making any messes there. These work like a charm. I highly recommend!

I put these on top of a shag rug that my cat was doing his business on⦠He is smart enough to know that he should not walk on them and has returned to doing his business in the litter box. I will leave them out a while longer nonetheless because they are clear and donât look horrific.I have a multi cat household, and they are all smart enough to not hurt themselves on the mats. Their curiosity was piqued, and they touched them with their paws, but did not make any attempt to walk on them. Me, on the other hand, I accidentally stepped on one, and I nearly did a 360 in the air⦠Lol.

We set these up to block the babies room from cats that want to yodel the baby awake.Normally, the cats cock-a-doodle-doo at 3am. But this night was different.
