POOR QUALITY AT 2X THE PRICE
I have been buying the prior formula of these Hip & Joint Chews (Synovi G4 Dog Joint Supplement Chews) for a few years, and up until now I have been pleased. My senior dog had almost immediate improvement in his mobility and the limping nearly disappeared. But they now have a ânew and improvedâ formula of these joint chews⦠BUT THE IMPROVEMENT IS ONLY IN THE COMPANYâS BANK ACCOUNT.The chews are HALF the size of the old ones⦠not because they are more concentrated, but because they now direct you to give your pups TWICE AS MANY CHEWS. That means the bag of 240 chews that has a comparable cost to the old formula only lasts HALF AS LONG, costing the consumer DOUBLE!!! And thatâs not even the biggest problem.I opened up the package, and OVER HALF THE CHEWS ARE BROKEN! Look at my photos, broken, misshapen, squashed, mutilated⦠pick your own word. But I donât feel I can safely dose my dog because I cannot give a proper dose since I cannot put the 500+ piece puzzle back together to make 240 chews.Elanco (parent company), you used to be a reliable brand with a reliable product. But this poor rollout of your ânew and improvedâ hip and joint chews do not make the cut! It makes me wonder if your other products are going to make it past your quality control department in similar sub-par shape. I will not be giving my dog this inferior product since it cannot even be dosed properly. You just lost a good customer!

Smaller but work
These have helped my dog, but wow, they are so much smaller for far more money. I have to sprinkle these in my dog’s food or he won’t eat them. The other ones that I use to buy my dogs loved them. Then they switched to these and my dogs hate them sadly.

Bring back the old ones
I used to get the larger bucket of 240 chews that are no longer being sold. I only needed to give my dog one with those and they didn’t smell like these do. My dog has gotten sick the last two days with these new chews. I will be finding another brand.

Great for Joint Health
These chews are great for supporting hip and joint health in dogs. They are vet-formulated and my dog loves them. A great supplement for maintaining mobility and comfort.

1/2 the product on top of a price raise.
This product has more than doubled in price since November. The package now costs a little over $10 more for the same âamountâ of chews-240 -however, each chew is half the size and half of the active ingredient which means that you now need to give 2chews for every one that you previously used. Effectively raising the price by just over $10 plus 50 percent. With the product not giving any noticeable results and now this price gouging, will not be purchasing this again after using it for at least 4years.

Synovi rebrand/company change
Unfortunately when they rebranded the company also changed the size and amount you have to give to your pet. When I opened the bag a number of.the smaller pieces were broken so now you aren’t getting the correct dosage. Arrival with Amazon was fine so no issues there just an issue with the manufacturer and the changes they did after the rebrand/company change.
