Customers say
Customers find the grooming harness easy to use, taking less than 20 minutes to complete, and appreciate that they can trim all nails at once without drama. The product helps calm dogs during the process, and customers consider it worth the price as it saves vet visits. The size and build quality receive mixed feedback – while some say it works for both small and large dogs and is well-built, others find it too small and flimsy. The included clippers are also mixed, with some customers receiving them while others report missing items.

Works as shown, could be improved, good value
not a pro level item, but it does work . dog is a little off balance, pretty much looks like the picture. straps are short, if you use a pullup bar your dog will be about eye level .no straps to hold the dog in, just gravity. still better than not having one . the included nail clippers are pretty good so far.

Works well for an anxious dog
First time I’ve ever been able to cut my dogs nails all at once. Usually he freaks out and squirms away and can only do a couple nails before his anxiety takes over. This held him tight and calm with minimal squirming. Seems well made.

Not Perfect but, a game changer in our house
I wish I could have taken photos but, our first round was a bit of trial and error mixed with minor chaos. We have three dogs in our house and was able to use this on all of them. It was not a perfect fit for any of them but, got the job done. We have not been able to trim our dogs nails on our own for some time as none of our dogs are big fans and it has proven much easier and quicker to pay someone. However, this can be a lot of time and money with three dogs.Notes – we also purchased an inexpensive nail grinder on amazon. My husband was able to quickly clip nails and then I went behind and used the grinder for smoothing. With our dogs we placed a table underneath them. Got them on the table then placed them in the hammock. While I held the hammock up, my husband used ratchet straps to hook to the hammock and lift them up. We used an exposed floor joist in our basement as the support. With our dogs we found that they had to be lifted completely off the surface both front and back so that they could not make contact and push off. One of our dogs found a work around this by pushing off of my husband while clipping. Two of our dogs are large and wigglers, so it helped that I comforted them and gave them treats to keep them still (food worked as treats as all three of our dogs are very much food driven). Now for the dogs and fit. You want to make sure you have the hammock laid right to begin with. I laid it on the table before lifting the dogs onto the table so that I could put their feet in and lift up. Our oldest and largest boy is a chunky lab/hound mix weighing in at about 84lbs. I would have preferred a bit longer hammock for him but, it supported his weight just fine. As he wiggled around he ended up with the front of the hammock sliding down and pushing on him in a way that did not look very comfortable – luckily we were close to done. Our second is a german sheppard weighing in around 70lbs. The hammock fit him the best as he is lean – he was the most active boy and for this a slightly bigger hammock would have also been ideal. Lastly, we have a mini aussie, a chunky girl weighing in between 30-35lbs. The hammock was a little long as far as leg spacing but can bunch up to make work. Having the most available fabric around her, the size actually worked best to helo ensure that she did not escape or wiggle out.We were able to clip all three dogs nails in about thirty minutes with all the change outs and two adults. Yes I would definitely recommend this for those that need another option for trimming nails at home. I would definitely purchase this again and will be on the search for a larger size for more comfort for our guys.

XL worked for my 115 lb English (pocket) Mastiff
We have an elderly English mastiff rescue who was surrendered due to a littlle incontinence and allergy issues. She is our pocket mastiff cause she only weighs 115 lbs and is our smallest furry family member. Sbe hates her toes clipped so we had the vet attempt the task which took four lab techs and two separate attempts to complete the daunting task. She might have some hyena and dingo in her genes cause of her power and evasion moves.I ran across this grooming hammock completely by accident while checking out doggy probiotics options that may help with her unfortunate allergies, although our raw diet has alleviated the vast majority of her symptoms. I also ordered Floro Rope Clip Grow Light Hangers, 2 for under $7, that can support up to 150 lbs each.Drilled a couple holes in our 2×8 floor/ceiling joists and Installed two hooks for suspending the grow light hangers. Over the next few days we left the grooming hammock laying on the floor so she had to walk by it and get use to it. Then we placed her in it a couple of times while just holding the hammock by hand then had treats and play time afterwards. Suspended her in it without doing anything but giving affection then let her down and had treats and playtime. Finally, placed a table under the suspension system, got her in he hammock and lifted her on the table then hoisted her just enough that she could not leverage her Tasmanian Devil attributes to avoid her new shoes. She still gave a valiant attempt to pull her legs away but we got those sharp little daggers off her paws. Turns out she hates the toe clippers but is fine with nail filing, by hand, so I’m gonna try the Dremel next time and leave the clippers for the other furry family members that almost sleep through their pawdicures.Glad I came across this grooming hammock, it made a maddening experience into a quick and relatively painless task. Now that she has had a good experience followed by Greenie reward the process should continue to evolve into a routine rather than terrifying chore. Eventually she might not require suspension at all.The hammock could use some Velcro on the suspension arms that would allow the two front arms then the two rear arms to connect whilst one is attempting to wrangle paws into the leg openings thus making it easier for one person to perform the task while the dog is performing evasion tactics.Did not use any of the other items provided. The nail clippers provided are for small dogs or cats, the file isn’t the type or size we use, use file from human pedicure. No need for scissors especially around a crazy dog attempting to escape, just becomes a prison shank followed by police reports and an ER visit.

Didnât work for our GSD
The suspension did not work for our 70 lb. Female GSD. Partly because she squirmed out of it. the XL was too small for her, even though I ordered the size based off the product recommendations. We are Keeping only because the clippers were new/sharp and worked well. We ended up clipping her nails and filing with a dremel. It seems like a great product for smaller or less anxious dogs though!

Great product, would definitely buy again
I have a corgi and he absolutely will not let me cut his nails so I didnt have much faith in this product. I was pleasantly surprised in how well it actually worked, he didnt even squirm around while I was clipping nails. Awesome product that saves me time and money

This Hammock was great, Willow stresses really bad having her nails cut,I used to get them done at the vet but poor girl would come out bleeding from them clipping the quick, not their fault as I know what Willow’s like, anyway I used this in conjunction with my son’s engine hoist and it worked perfectly and she was absolutely stress free â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸Sorry for some reason it wouldn’t let me upload pics.

We have an 80 lb lab who refuses to let us touch his feet. We tried everything. Grinders, different clippers, going to our vet. We were told we would have to sedate him for nail clipping and this was our last resort. He doesnât love it, but he lets us clip his nails now and it only takes a few minutes. Definitely worth the money.

Quality of the hammock wasn’t worth the money, came with s hooks which stated they don’t use, and never came with the right hooks,

We bought this as our 2 year old Boxweiler (rescue) makes clipping her nails impossible. We use this with a pulley system to hoist her up in the basement and she just becomes instantly submissive, chills there while we clip her nails. Works like a charm!!!

Size is not as described. Extremely tight around the legs. Cuts of circulation! Straps tore within a minute even though my dog weighs a lot less than the maximum.
