Very useful for training a âfood drivenâ dog
Freeze dried beef liver-Pros: quality ingredients, decent price, resealable bag. Cons: hard 1/2â chunks, smell disgusting, but dog loves them!! Adopted a 2yr old rescue with absolutely no training, no manners, no boundaries and doesnât understand NO ð.. I bought all kinds of treats that he wouldnât even eat! And yet, I decided to carry some of his regular dry kibble in my pocket & found that he would do just about anything for his kibble! So this is where the real progress began when I had kibble for the basics and these treats for great rewards (stay, self control, etc). Heâs still a work in progress.. but progress is the key- these treats are working for us and he works for food! *every dog is different but this is what worked for us.The treats are very hard & dry- I chose to chop them into tiny pieces (approx 2-3 pieces from 1 chunk) & I cut off/disposed of any âmarblingâ (dark lines within treat).. he had a little trouble at first because theyâre so dry.

Dog loves them maybe too much!
I have a 9 week old golden who I am training. It’s been tough, but it’s coming along I think. Anyways I bought these yesterday. Nice large bag with small hard squares of smelly liver. Tons of these cubes which is great. The almost issue here is, my dog loves them too much I think! I had the brilliant (sarcasm) idea to give some to her for the first time as a treat for going into her kennel. I cannot tell you how excited she got and I went from slightly hyper but going to bed pup to addicted to Crack pup. She wanted more, I had a few in my pocket I began to feed her. When I ran out she basically jumped onto my lap and started frantically smelling my pocket in search of more. Definitely the highest value reward I’ve been able to find her by far. Hope this helps

Healthy treats my dogs love
Needed treats without other ingredients they are allergic to and low calorie that they enjoy. They know when it is treat time and let us know!

Great treat for my Service Dog
My service dog has never been highly treat motivated, but when I pull out these treats to teach him a new task, he almost runs me over. These are single-ingredient and high-protein treats, thus they shouldn’t be used as basic training snacks. My only complaint is that I have to cut them in half, which is difficult to do compared to other beef liver treats, and by the time I’ve cut the entire bag of treats in half, my back hurts. It would be preferable if the treats were not so large, especially given their high value. I can’t image wanting to give your dog such a high-value treat just for completing one thing. The chicken liver is much easier to separate.
