Great For Doggos Paws
First, let me explain why I deducted one star.It shows that you can just spray it on the dog’s foot. The picture shows its spraying from the top of the paw. Obviously, that’s not what this product is for it’s for the bottom of their paws.Also, instead of coming out in a “spraying” pattern, it kind of comes out in a stream. So it’s not quite as easy as it sounds. What I’ve been doing is spraying it in the palm of my hand and then kind of sticking my dog’s paw in my hand while “rubbing it in”. This process works fine, it’s just a bit messy. Also, it makes it sound like it dries quickly, and it really doesn’t dry that quickly. I have noticed that it makes the pads of his feet softer and more moisturized. I’m still not taking him out on pavement. That is extremely hot. I do think that it is good protection for sand, dry grass, brush and possibly, in the winter, the ice melt. Every winter I worry about the ice melt, because I know that can be really tough on their paws. I think it has a very light scent. I don’t really know what that scent it is, it’s light and pleasant. I’m really glad to have found this product. Because I am constantly worrying about his paws. I have shoes for him, but he does not like wearing them at all! I will probably use it again. And I recommend it, especially because there are several scenarios where it comes in handy.

Not a fan of the scent but working well so far!
My sister takes her dog, Coco, to the park daily as she is still young (under 2 years old) and she is a high energy mixed breed. She has never had any issues with paw injuries before, but a couple weeks ago when she was at the dog park, she got some scrapes/burns on her paw pads. She has never had this happen before and I know it is getting hotter outside. I think the pavement was hotter than my sister realized and Coco was just having too much fun running and playing to care.After seeing her paws, I immediately searched for something to help her paws, and she has been doing good with this! She doesn’t like to wear doggy shoes, but until her paws healed more (didn’t want to risk bacteria or infection) she had to wear her shoes to the park. Her paws are much better and for the last 4-5 days now, we have been applying this spray to her feet and rubbing it in to moisturize her paw pads.We have been bringing the dog shoes just in case as well, but I really think that this spray has been helping because she has not had any more burns. We bring the spray with us to the park, and we try to re-apply it when we were able to as Coco runs around like crazy and doesn’t want to stop until she is exhausted and it’s time to go home. I don’t particularly care for the smell, but that is okay because I didn’t buy it to smell good. I bought this to help protect Coco’s little paws and so far, it has been doing just that. This is definitely worth trying to protect your fur baby.

It is moisturizer for paws.
Iâve been applying this on my dogâs paws for a month. Itâs July here, itâs hot and so Is the pavement. My dog still avoiding the hot payment. What I did notice is that itâs an excellent moisturizer. It does take time to dry when you are spraying it on. Itâs working good in soften his paws but Iâm not sure how much of a protective barrier it is for hot pavers.

Decent paw protector spray
I was excited to find a âcleanerâ method of applying a paw protector solution. Most methods Iâve tried so far has been a balm that I have to use my finger to apply to my dogâs paws and rub in. That was messy so I thought Iâd try this spray. It is much easier to just spray my dogs paws!Unfortunately, this spray does still need to be rubbed in a little. It is still messy as it is a little sticky. It doesnât have much of a smell. What little smell there is, is pleasant. The ad states this is âquick drying,â but I find it is not. I do like this is non-toxic.I cannot honestly tell how well it provides protection from the heat. Hard to judge. It doesnât appear that my dog is uncomfortable while walking (but we try to stay off the blacktop surfaces as much as possible in the summer). I cannot honestly tell attest that it does help moisturize my dogs paws.Overall, I feel the list price of $16.99 is a bit high.

I had high hopes for this product.
The spray bottle doesnât work very well to get the solution applied evenly. I had high hopes for this since my puppy itches wearing boots. I guess Iâm going to have to continue with the boots in this hot weather. The solution takes a long time to dry. And applying it for each foot took forever. It never did quite dry all the way before putting his foot back down on the ground. Not sure if it really worked. I felt like it wore off on the floor before it dried all the way? Maybe if you have an older dog thatâs not quite so rambunctious youâll have better success.

Good Softener
This is good as a moisturizer. It does actually soften the paws after several days use.I havenât really noticed it being a protectant from heat. My dog still avoids hot pavement.I have to spray it on my hand and rub it on, like a lot of pets, mine is afraid of having things sprayed on her. She has tiny feel and legs so itâs hard to find shoes to protect her, I was really hoping for a better heat protectant.
