This is my new go-to for muscle soreness.
I don’t usually write reviews, but this product warranted it. I’ve used the other well-known gel for muscle soreness for years, but went with Nano-X because a friend of mine had a bottle for me to sample.The first thing I noticed was Nano-x is a bit pricier than the alternative. But a little of this goes a LONG way. For the similar size bottle of the other gel, this bottle will last at least 3x to 4x as long. The texture of Nano-X makes it easier to spread over a wide area with just a small amount.This stuff is fast acting, has a pleasant scent and continues working for hours. It is very powerful, so I wouldn’t recommend it for small children.If you are considering trying Nano-X, do it. I will be a repeat customer.

NanoXtreme is great for directed pain relief. It’s fast acting, and the benefits last throughout the day. It’s non-greasy and easy to apply. This cream provides excellent pain relief without any overpowering scent or sticky residue. I’ve tried it on my shoulders, elbows, hands, knees, and lower back and found it consistently alleviates the pain and soreness.

Don’t waste your money!
Smell is terrible and stays with me. It DID NOT help my shoulder pain at all. I feel what I paid for it I should have had a little relief. I know it says no refund however I am 85 years old and on Social Security and $50.00 is a loot for me to pay to toss it in the trash. Effective, and smells strongly of wintergreen (methyl salicylate)
I have chronic neck pain and have used a lot of products of this type, but this one is distinctly different than most due to the presence of methyl salicylate. Typically, creams like this are based on either menthol (an active cooling compound derived from mint, especially peppermint), or a combination of menthol and capsaicin (which you probably know is the hot substance from peppers). I have had a lot of experience with both of these compounds, having distilled them from plants ands used them in oil and crystalline form to make my own products. This product does have 4 % menthol (a decent amount), but when I first opened it and put some on my neck, I was surprised to notice that the smell is not of menthol, but of wintergreen. This is due to the other active ingredient, methyl salicylate, which makes up a full 10 % of the product.If you have ever had a stick of wintergreen gum, you will know the smell of methyl salicylate. This is it. It is very, very strong, and personally I am not a huge fan. I prefer the standard menthol. It should be noted that my cat is definitely not fond of it either, and wants to stage a major protest at me for bringing it into the house. Seriously, she is not pleased. However, despite this offending (to me) odor, I do have to admit that the stuff works. It feels like almost nothing at first–and you may think it hasn’t worked–but don’t be fooled. It will kick in soon. When it does, it exerts a very strong cooling feeling of relief for a good hour or more.Before this, the cream I used most often was Sombra, which is also available on Amazon. I really love that stuff, but I have woken up in the middle of the night feeling a bit too warmed by the amount of capsaicin they put in it. If you use too much, it can have a delayed effect of causing an uncomfortable burning sensation. Because of that, I have been looking for a cream without capsaicin. I’m not sure yet whether I can get used to the smell of this one, but it does work, and I at the very least I like having a bottle around for when I really need.
