Great product, perfect size, easy to get treats without spilling
What a great treat bag! I don’t like using treats for most training as I want the dog to do his job for praise. However, I’m in the process of training my SAR dog to do some new things and it’s necessary to treat him heavily during the learning stage. I’ve tried the small ziplock bag in the pants pocket only to find most of the treats end up squished in my pockets after a bit. It’s also hard to reach into a deep pocket with a flimsy bag and try to treat the dog promptly so he associates his action with the treat. With this treat bag my pockets will stay clan and the reward given immediately without fumbling around. It measures about 5.5 inches wide and around 5 inches tall so it’s a good size. It has a belt that’s removable and a clip on the top. I’ll fit a carabiner in the clip and hood to a belt loop as shown in photo or more likely to a D-ring on the cargo pants I usually wear for training. The magnetic closure opens easily when you reach in but won’t dump everything out when you bend over. It’s very nice quality and has a zipper pocket in the front and states that it is hand washable. Â I’m very happy with this purchase.Â

Boy have I been through so many Treat bags or similar. They were either too bulky, hard, didn’t close properly or I couldn’t get into them fast enough as I need at times to keep the momentum. This bag is Amazing. It is small which I like, don’t need anything huge. It has an adjustable clasp click latch to wear around your waist like a belt. Easy pouch bucket shaped insert with a string magnetic closure. It also has a small zippered pocket with a key fob to bring along your keys or a few dollars. Nice key ring of sort to hang or attach to a belt loop instead. It holds a good amount of treats or whatever is placed inside, I love it. seems as if it can be gentle washed in machine and laid flat for air dry. Best one yet. I no longer have to search for anything else. It allows me to reach in there quickly and grab the treats needed to reward, and doesn’t have them fall out when I bend over. IT’s perfect and made well.Thank you for this, as this is going to help us big time with our training sessions.

Great daily treat bag!
This has been my daily training pouch for my crazy dogs for a month now & so far Iâm very pleased with it.The pouch holds about 1 & 1/4 cup kibble comfortably with the magnetic closure closed. The magnet is strong enough to stay closed until I need it open & I can also easily open it one handed when needed.The zipper pocket on the front is big enough for a few poop bags.The belt is adjustable up to roughly 54 inches. The pouch can slide along the belt so changing from front to back or side reward positions is very easy.I havenât used the carabiner yet but it seems sturdy.2 things I would change:- the loop on the pouch for the strap has too much room. My strap has done a lot of twisting inside this loop.- the front pocket fabric is plain black. I would prefer it to be the same color fabric as the rest of the pouch.

Good size, belt clip is better than expected
I’m reviewing the OllyDog Goodie Treat Puch. I like this treat pouch, I feel it’s just the right size, small but not too small; I can fit a really good amount of treats in the pouch.The opening is wide and allows for easy access. The magnet is strong and holds the bag shut, but not so strong to make it difficult to open the bag quickly. The pouch does not close completely, it only has the one button magnet centered so that it pinches closed in the middle of the opening. Other reviewers expressed concern about this design allowing treats to spill from the corners. I have not had this experience. I find it closes enough that I have no concern for spillage with my normal movements; the treats I’m using are about the size of a pea maybe a little larger. I’ve even left the pouch open while walking and not had any issues. Perhaps if I had the pouch placed where it can swing excessively and I was running, then maybe I could see the treats might spill.I don’t love the belt clip, but I like it more than I thought I would. You can’t slide it on your waist band quickly like some, you have to hook it on your belt loop, wait band, pocket, etc. I find this clip design has more options for placement, I can even just hook the pouch on a pinch of my clothing when I don’t have pockets. I feel pretty good that in most cases I don’t have to worry about this pouch falling off.The pouch comes with a strap for additional carry options, I have not used it yet.

The only thing I wish was better is that the magnets close easily so thereâs no way to keep it open. I bought this for training classes with the puppy. I have to look at the pouch to open it every time I need another treat which is annoying. On the other hand, it keeps the treats secure.I love the size and the belt is super handy plus thereâs a pocket in the front that fits a credit card and house key in easily which makes it perfect for walks.
