good product, but take care and make sure it is appropriate for you
This is a good product that is what it says it is – an oil-free skin cleaner with salicylic acid. My daughter loves it, thinks it works well, and has purchased it many times. But I have sensitive skin and never use a product with salicylic acid. Although I use other Neutrogena products, this particular product is very irritating to my skin. So maybe think twice about purchasing it, if you have very sensitive skin. Also, for everyone, salicylic acid can make your skin more sensitive to the sun and to getting sunburned. So, if you are using this product, take care to protect your skin from the sun.

Deep Clean is better for combo skin
Itâs a classic for a reason- it works. But be warned, itâs very strong and drying. I prefer the âDeep Cleanâ wash over this just based on smell alone, but it also doesnât seem to be as strong. I have combination skin, with only the occasional hormonal zit, and it seems to work pretty well at keeping bacteria at bay- but so does âDeep Cleanâ without the irritation. Moisturizer is a must with this after cleansing or your skin will feel tight, dry, and uncomfortable.

Helped clear my bumpy skin
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love this cleanser. I feel like my skin is looking so much better since I started using this twice a day. I had some areas with bumpy skin that I was told was acne under the skin from long-term steroid use due to a prescription I take for a medical condition. Within a week, my skin was much smoother.Â
