Here are the good, the bad and the ugly.The good: There’s no scent, and no white cast whatsoever. It’s a higher SPF than most facial sunscreens that tend to only be in the 30’s. For us ladies (especially the ones with fines lines) we definitely need a little more protection. It’s very moisturizing, so no need for another product, this is definitely both.2. The bad. It is VERY moisturizing. Be dry babe, be very dry with this one. If you have oily skin this might not be for you. It does burn if you sweat. A trick I use is to powder the brows and upper eyelids before setting spray. Usually this keeps it from getting to the eyes. But if you’re out in the sun by water…. Molly, you in danger girl.3. The ugly. Absolutely under no circumstances apply this sunscreen and go to get a hair cut. You will leave looking like a Sasquatch. Everything, and I mean everything adheres to your skin. It does not dry down, ever. Like ever. If you accidentally rub you cheek then rub your eye, you will be so sorry. It stays hydrating/thick until washed off.

I use Hydro boost face moisturizer. This product is nothing like Hydro Boost. It does protect my face from the sun, however it smells, and feels just like an old fashion, over the counter white greasy sun screen. It burns my eyes. It lays on my face like Vaseline. Recommendation: use this as a moisturizing chemical-sunscreen base under mineral sunscreen
I’m committed to tinted mineral sunscreen because it gives my skin the best sun protection as well as some light make-up coverage. But as I’ve aged, and my skin has gotten drier, I was having trouble finding a deeply-hydrating product to layer under my tinted mineral sunscreen. I tried dozens of serums, lotions, gels, creams. They would inevitably cause my mineral sunscreen to pill, peel, flake off – basically look like I was suffering from dandruff of the face.Then one day, randomly, I decided to try this Neutrogena Hydroboost moisturizer with sunscreen which I already had lying around, but had never previously thought to layer under a mineral sunscreen. I have to preach: this product is the TRUTH for plumping up the skin with glowy moisture, and it adheres and plays beautifully with the mineral sunscreen and concealer I apply over it. No pilling, no peeling, no flaking off. Miracle! The added sun protection is a nice bonus too.If applying under mineral sunscreen/make up, allow at least 10-15 minutes for the Neutrogena Hydroboost to absorb into the skin.
