2.5yr olds new favorite toy
I bought this for my 2.5 year old daughter and it arrived today. I can already tell itâs a 10 out of 10 toy. One thing she loves is painting nails. The problem is, after all our nails are painted she still wants to keep going. The fun ends too quickly. One day she came across an unused paint brush and she pretended to paint my nails over and over for a few days. Thatâs when I thought this toy might actually go over really well rather than frustrating her due to the lack of paint.Upon opening the delivery box she immediately gasped and wanted to play. She might have been confused or disappointed by the lack of paint for maybe 10 seconds. I started following the activity card and showing her how to use all the accessories. By that point she was hooked! We played nail shop for 45 minutes straight until I had to insist we go pick up her brother from school. She brought a few polish bottles with her for the ride!I like all of the accessories included so she has realistic play. The polish bottles and brushes are slightly oversized and the other accessories are a thick plastic, so everything should be durable in little hands. I love that the clear plastic shelf is functional and that all the accessories (besides the bowl and dryer) store on it, including grooves to hold the color guide and the activity card. I see her looking at the pictures on the activity card and trying to follow along, so Iâm glad it has a dedicated spot so we wonât lose it. Neither me nor my daughter are particularly girly, but this is an incredibly adorable play set! The price is decent and with a name like Melissa and Doug backing it, I wouldnât hesitate to gift it or recommend it to others.

Cute and GREAT gift for kids!
This was a gift for my daughter. She loves it and itâs a perfect size! No choking hazards and sheâs learning how to use these different products. She loves to watch me do my make up so itâs fun for her to be able to âdoâ hers too!! Thereâs no sound and this is a super durable product! Considering my 2 year old has had it for a while!! Cute and fun for kids!

Perfect toy
We got this for my (then 2.5 year old) daughter for Christmas and she was immediately obsessed. She loves all the different pieces that come with it and the variety of imaginative party it gives her. She can do makeup, pretend to paint her nails (with the lip gloss), do face painting, put jewelery in the box, etc. She uses it almost every day for the past 7 months. Get it!

Great gift for three year old!
Perfect gift for my daughterâs third birthday! She was very delighted to receive this gift and had been pretending to give everyone makeovers. Happily, it is all washable, too. I learned this when she brought it outside and covered the whole set in dirt and sunscreen.

Lots of fun! No storage container though
Itâs super cute & creative, my 2 year old daughter is obsessed with it. First thing she wants to do in the morning is play with this & the Melissa & Doug makeup kit.Only downside is it doesnât come with a storage container for all the pieces, like their makeup kit does. For $25+ youâd think theyâd include something to store everything in. So for that I knocked off a star. Other than that no complaints! We had an extra clear bin we bought a while ago from Costco that is now her designated bin for her pretend beauty supplies 🙂

Mess free and great
My 2 year old loves to watch me do my makeup and wants to participate, but I don’t want her making a mess, and play makeup is made from horrible stuff that would never be allowed in actual cosmetics…So I bought these. They look pretty realistic, the powder pans are a soft foam so they even FEEL right.These have brought us hours and hours of fun, with no mess and all imagination. Highly recommend.

This was a Christmas present for my 4 year old. She loves it and plays with it regularly. The lid has popped of a few times, but it goes back on very easily. It comes with a cute little explanation for what to do with each makeup item. It is very well made and the mirror is a good reflection. My daughter loves to pretend to do her makeup with me while I do mine.
