Works well as long as you stick to the program
My wife recentlly paid for a series of treatments to remove body hair. It was rather expensive and said she would’ve held off had she known I had this product coming. She tried this on another area of her body and commented that the sensation was similar to her treatments and that the results looked similar as well,She has 4-5 more treatments left and will continue to use this device in parralel on the other area she originally tried it on.So far so good….we’ll see.
Brutal Engineering –
NOT a laser. It is Intense Pulsed Light. Still burns hairs though.
I had never used one of these before but this is wild. It needs to be plugged in while operating. The silver surface is capacitive and detects when it is touching your skin (or anything capacitive) so you don’t fire this off accidentally and blind yourself. The metal does get really cold from a Peltier cooler. It isn’t really needed, but when you activate the pulse you feel the heat for sure. It feels like an electric shock with some warmth afterward. It is insanely bright. Even fully pressed against my skin it was like a camera flash going off.I tested this on some pretty black hairs and it fried them. I tried this after shaving some unwanted hairs (as is the procedure) and blasting them, but I couldn’t tell if anything happened to the follicles below the skin. Hairs that weren’t shaved certainly burnt up, but below the skin seemed unchanged. I’ll keep up with the regimen and report back if it seems to work to prevent regrowth.
