A more natural looking alternative to traditional hair dye
I am almost 55 years old. My beard is pretty much completely white (yes, not gray, actually white). My sides are pretty much the same way. The only little bit of my original dark brown hair that is left is on top and that has become less and less as time goes on. I have been using this product on both my hair and beard for a couple years or so now and had great results.I have seen some reviews reporting hair loss. My hair is pretty fine and I have had no hair loss using this product. This is the best alternative out there to traditional hair dyes.Do not expect instant results. It is not meant to work that way. It is a gradual change. When I first started using it, I used it every day until I got to the color I liked. It took around 2 weeks or so I think. Since then I use it 2 to 3 times a week and that’s it. A small dab for my hair and a small dab for my beard is all it takes. You do not have to use a large amount. One tube should last you for a while.It does not work as well on very short hair. I keep my sides buzzed and it does darken some, just not as much as the longer hair. So it does look like I have a little gray on the sides, but I do not mind this. It looks much more natural than all my hair just being one solid color from hair dye. And it is not white, it still darkens some.I use this on my beard as well and have from the start. I do not think there is much difference from the Control GX they sell for beards. But as I said, it does not work as well on shorter hair. So if you have a close cropped beard, your results will vary.I do get some darkening of the fingernails, but I just use a fingernail file on them to remove the stains about once every couple months. Not a big deal and small price to pay for the convenience and natural results.So if you are tired of trying cover your gray with traditional hair dye, this product is definitely worth a try. I am very happy that I discovered it and I will never go back to traditional hair dyes. Natural looks, convenience and great cost make this a must have and a great value. Highly recommended.

Easy to Use, Works Well

I use it twice a week to keep my entire head minimally gray. Simply shampoo and condition your hair using a small amount to lather your hair. The amount will depend on how much hair you have. Allow the shampoo conditioner to sit on at least 90 seconds (I let it stay on approx three minutes). Rinse thoroughly and you are done.Expert advice:- when opening the foil under the cap, only create a small hole. Keep it small minimizing the air allowed in to increase longevity. Less air in the longer it lasts. I can usually use the same container for an entire month.- You hair will not change completely the first time you use it. It will take several applications to fully reduce the gray to where you want it.- Once you get to where your happy with the amount of gray, you can reduce the number of times a week you use it. Like I said earlier I only need to do it twice a week.- when you are applying the shampoo conditioner try to avoid getting it on your finger nails and cuticles as it will dye them. Use the palms of your hands to massage it in. If you do get it on your fingers (I do every-time) wash your hands thoroughly. This should remove the dye and your fingers wont look dirty.I love the product and have found nothing better.

Somehow Iâve passed 40 and have started to get grey hair. This stuff works like shampoo and doesnât feel like youâre applying chemicals or anything. It doesnât itch or smell particularly bad. My only suggestion would be to wear latex gloves when you use it because it doesnât get under your fingernails and turns your cuticles brown. I use it about twice a week and it makes me look like I did in my 30âs. The price point and value is pretty reasonable and I intend to use it for a few years. At some point Iâll just rock the salt and pepper look but for now Iâm just not ready for the grey. I canât vouch for the longevity as Iâve kept using it regularly.

White hair to a natural black
The dye application process is straightforward. Just apply a small amount to your hands, rub it into your wet hair for a few minutes, leave it for about four minutes, and rinse. Repeat this for three days. The result? My hair transformed from white to gray, and now it’s a natural black. The only downside is that the product no longer includes plastic gloves. But don’t worry, just be cautious and use the palm of your hand to avoid staining inside your nails.

Finally something for ash browns!
It works! Be patient and use for a few to several days in a row. If you have stubborn grey, like on your sides, then after you are satisfied with other areas, use for a dew days just on the areas you want to touch up. After you have coverage you want, touch up as needed, every few days to once a week depending on your fade rate.What I enjoy is that unlike all other men’s general purpose “brown” hair color products, this does not have an abundance of red and brassy tones. It’s perfect for ash browns. My hair stylist compliments me on my color all the time.It’s more convenient to use than the straight dye products. I typically give 3-5 min to let it sit and then shampoo with a small amount of regular shampoo afterwards to get rid of the smell and any excess. Post shampooing doesn’t seem to wash out the color.
