Good texture, sticky without flaking. Works for all hair types including course and unruly hair. Love the shine added to hair, provides a little bit of greasiness look. Comes in value sizes.

Perfect for my hair, no residue
I used other products that would leave an obvious residue. You could see the color. This blends in nicely, does what is supposed to do, and doesn’t smell.

The gel works good , I would give it five stars but , the smell reminds of cheap 1970s oil based hair products my uncles used . That smell is horrible, although it’s leaves once dry . Please create unscented gel , so natural pheromones work , thank you …

Flaking gel, no hold
I love Johnny B products and have been using it for quite some time now. I chose a different style this last order due to wanting to change it up and get something with more hold. When I got this gel it said it would not flake up but it flakes up rather quickly which has never happened with the other Johnny B products I normally get. In addition, It also has less hold than the other gels which I chose to get this one because it said it had more hold than the ones I normally get. Looking at other reviews it feels like maybe I was the odd one out but I was completely unsatisfied with this particular gel which I will be going back to the previous ones I normally get instead. Just wanting to relay my experience.
