    Didn’t work out for us
The sound was terrible so recording words didn’t do any good. It was also too hard to get our dog to push

    Fun and silly training toy
I got this as a funny Christmas gift for my folks. They have a 11 month old labradoodle. She’s really smart and I thought it would be a funny gift. The video is after only 15 minutes of working with her. The button is hard to hear on the phone recording but it’s louder in person. They started with a simple “treat” and “outside” button.Well now when they take the button away she searches for it to press it for a treat. And she has used the “outside” button by herself to ask to go outside. It was a silly gift that turned out to be a hit. Fun for my parents and their dog.I would say if you have a smart dog that needs a fun training game this is it. If you know a dog lover that has a dog it was a fun gift to give too. My dad gave the best reaction on Christmas opening it when he realized what it was lol.

Fine starter buttons to see if your dog is interested in learning
The sound quality is pretty muffled and soft but they do work. I didn’t want to spring for expensive buttons not knowing if my dog was even going to be interested in using them, so these were a great way to try out the concept.Four buttons gives you enough words to work with to see how your dog reacts. The buttons are easy for my dog (greyhound mix) to target and press with a foot or a nose. My boy dog is showing interest and has used the buttons a few times. My girl dog gets excited about hearing the buttons but shows no interest in interacting with them.Putting in the batteries takes a philips head screwdriver – a little bit fiddly but not too taxing. Make sure the batteries snap in all the way – some of them took an extra shove. The record button on the outside was easy to use. So far my dogs have not bumped it accidentally. I used a label maker to show which buttons are for which words and the labels stuck on nicely. Are these the best buttons out there? Probably not, but they’re great to use as a proof of concept.

Does the job, not super well.
Out of the 4 buttons that came in the package, only one has a speaker that doesn’t sound horrible. They have a tinny/drone sound to them. They get the job done and my pup has been learning to ask for things using them, but they are fairly low quality.I especially don’t like that the record button is on the outside. This means the pup can accidentally hit the record button and erase your word recording. These are great as a first time use thing. Just to see if the pup can even take to using buttons.I purchased the mat package with the buttons, and in my opinion the buttons are too close for an enthusiastic puppy just learning to use buttons. He routinely hits 2 or 3 buttons simultaneously.Add to this the fact that the buttons do not stay in the mat without being mounted with a double sided tape or Velcro or similar mounting method.3 stars because they were easy to use, easy to set up, cheap, and do what they claim to do. They lose a star for quality and a star for form/function.Again would recommend for a first time button purchase to check and see if a pup will even be able to learn to use buttons before deciding to go all in on a more expensive and better built set.

    Becomes non-functional very quickly.
Didn’t take long for the buttons to start getting stuck. The audio sounds when the button is released, but it gets stuck every single time the dog pushes it. We have a pug, so it’s not like we have some massive dog that is abusing these buttons. They’re poorly made and a total waste of money.

This really works! Even for a stubborn dog.
The key to making this work was a combination of trying different choice words and finding something that my puppy really likes just to get her to touch it with her paw. I read the instructions and I tried different words like potty, go potty, go outside and full sentences asking her different ways if she has to go potty and she did everything but touch it, I would even put her paw on it and she didn’t like it at all! That went on for two days. I decided to try something I didn’t want to do. I recorded another button with an excited sounding Do you want a treat? And guess what, after asking her to press the button a couple of times and giving her a treat after pointing to it and right when she looked at the button…..she did it. This went on for 5 consecutive button pressing and each given a reward. I used very tiny training treats that have a huge taste something she likes very much. Then of course I had to put the button up out of reach until tomorrow. So I decided to put the potty button next to her bowl in the kitchen near the doorway leading to the backyard. I changed the words to an excited sounding Potty Dog showed it to her and fed her dinner. After eating she pressed the button and we went on outside and it has worked ever since! I was frustrated at first when everything worked up until I wanted her to press the button but we overcame that and once a day I bring the treat button to her for a treat fest and then return it out of reach, to use it again tomorrow. My puppy is 7 months old and is learning to communicate and very happy to see my positive reactions to her behavior. We are learning together and this is an awesome product! This gets a four paws up from my Hazel Woo and I give it a 10 star from the heart!

    Dosen’t record clearly
the speaker was fuzzy and faint and I don’t think it’s supposed to rattle around in the button we also had an issue was trying to get a clear feedback. We were speaking loudly and enunciating and the words still sound garbled There’s a click every time you step on the button, and you do have to push on the button quite hard in order for it to work resulting in about half the time when my dog tried to push the button, it didn’t work. THey break easily, and we had to keep recording after a few clicks……..Also our pups would chew on them so we had to pick them up at times……..You get what you pay for.

Reasonably good quality audio buttons for starting to train your dog to talk. The audio can be a bit fuzzy unless you speak directly into the speaker/mic when recording. The buttons are also pretty durable, we have a 15lb small dog but she tends to get overexcited to tell us her demands and kicks the buttons around like hockey pucks. 🙂 Kit includes easy step-by-step instructions for how to teach your dog.

These need a lot of batteries so make sure you stock up. Also you input the words… sounds so odd!

__________________________特に目立った不具合はなく、使用してとても困った…
