This is NOT lotion
This is an exfoliating cream meant to be applied at night and rubbed off in the morning. When first applied, it’s incredibly oily. It leaves your skin feeling greasy and thick. It goes on pretty smooth and evenly, and it stays on all night. It has no scent, and it pretty good quality for what it’s worth.But this is not a daily moisturizer for everyday use. You wash your skin, preferably in warm water, apply this lotion while it’s still slightly damp, and then sleep with it on. The next morning, you take a towel or some sort of abrasive rag and rub the dead skin off. This cream is for exfoliating, it works by loosening the dead skin on top and moisturizing the new skin below. Hence why it’s so oily.I like to put it on before a workout so that when I’m done, I can take a shower and scrub all the sweat and dead skin off. Pretty interesting product.

Effective, rapid, and affordable relief for dry and bumpy skin
This is a great emollient cream that I have found smooths and softens my skin in just one use. I have moderate keratosis pilaris on the back of my arms and a bit on my legs. I use this, after exfoliating and sometimes using an SA cream, generally before bed. While it doesnât remove much redness, I find my skin is far smoother and soft when I use it regularly, with no bumps to the touch.It is very thick and moisturizing, and similar in texture to many eczema creams Iâve tried, but unlike others, this doesnât have a strong smell. Itâs also a great value for a tub that lasts a long time.I try to be careful about safe skincare ingredients, and while I wouldnât use this on my child, the ingredients of concern are salicylic acid and propylene glycol, both of which are in a majority of products like this. They can cause a contact allergic reaction, but this is dependent on the consumer. I have sensitive skin and have developed more allergies as Iâve aged, but I have had no personal adverse reactions to this cream.

Works really well for KP bumpy skin. My skin feels smoother within a few hours and is clear within 2 weeks of using it. It is a little sticky and is not my favorite smell, but it works great.

Sticky and stinky, but still worth it to me as part of routine of body products
I’ve neglected the skin on my body for years – mostly due to lack of effort and not caring because I rarely bare my skin anyway. It had gotten to the point that even the most rich moisturizing lotions did not to moisten my skin.I had started to notice that I had a lot of discoloration and hyperpigmentation and keratosis pilaris on my body. I am in my early 30s and had never noticed these issues before, so I started to try to figure out a routine.First I tried this cream, Gold Bond for Rough an Bumpy Skin. It smelled terrible out of the bottle, when I put it on before bed it feels sticky and gross. After a couple of days my skin felt slightly smoother, but for me it wasn’t worth the bad smell and the icky feel on my skin. Personally, for me to stick to a routine, I have to enjoy it.Next I tried Cerave SA Lotion. Same results, except it didn’t have a smell and didn’t make me feel sticky. And the bottle was tiny and barely lasted.I talked about my issues on a forum, and it was suggested to me to start a treatment plan that included AHAs, BHAs, and salicylic acid so they would all be available to my skin and restore the moisture barrier. It was also suggested to try the Cerave SA Cream.Even though each product barely did anything for me in its own, when I started alternating nightly between each I started seeing HUGE results in the way my skin felt and looked. I had gotten so used to dryness that I had stopped noticing it, but now my skin feels so good that I’ve kind of turned into a perv, running my hands over my body constantly, just enjoying how smooth and soft everything is. The hyperpigmentation and the spots left by my keratosis pilaris have improved only slightly, but I expect it to be much better in a few months. In the meantime, I am enjoying short term results with the way my skin feels.Every time I’ve tried to take on of the products out of rotation, my skin gets dry again, so it appears it’s absolutely vital to have both in my routine. I also threw in Retinoil from the brand Chemistry by Deciem, that focuses more on scars and PIH. Jury is still out on it it, but it definitely helps my skin look more smooth and bright in general, so I’ve been using that in the morning after I shower.I still think the Gold Bond stinks and is sticky, though. I’ve gotten used to the smell, but I make a note not to use it on nights in which someone might smell it on me Overall the Gold Bond is best at making my skin feel smoother and less bumpy, with the Cerave SA cream is the best and making my skin feel softer and moisturized.

Excellent All Around!
This is a miracle worker for my pale, rough and bumpy skin that magnifies every imperfection. From first use, immediately after my shower, I felt softer, smoother skin. Now I can SEE softer, smoother, skin with fewer bumps. This cream glides on beautifully and absorbs quickly into my skin. I can even mix it with my self tanner and the results are amazing – an even toned, no streak glow. Reasonably priced, excellent quality, arrived on time and in good condition. Fragrance free, so it doesnât compete with my everyday fragrance. Highly recommend.

For the last couple of years I have been suffering from an undiagnosed skin problem which causes me to develop red, itchy circular patches on my arms and the back of my hands – the GP thought it might be a form of discoid eczema possibly triggered by an allergy to heat/sunlight since it only occurs from Spring through to Autumn – it also appears to be age-related i.e. one of the things that us 50-something women must put up with! It’s very unsightly and uncomfortable, and apart from the usual prescription hydrocortisone ointment etc, I must have spent many hundreds of pounds on various creams which promise to treat such conditions – with absolutely no success. Gold Bond has been an absolute revelation. I’ve only been using it for four days – already the patches are much smaller, no longer raised and itchy and I am actually starting to hope that the problem may have been solved. It’s early days, but the results so far are very promising – and overall my skin looks and feels smooth and hydrated, which is a real bonus. This cream lasts well and only a small amount is needed – an application morning and evening seems to do the job, and I’ve found that even after 12 hours my skin is not drying out like it used to. I have even used it on my face which is prone to patches of dry skin – and this too is showing a significant improvement. I can thoroughly recommend this product.

This shiz actually works. It made a marked difference to my keratosis pilaris. Even though itâs still there itâs muuuuch better! I know there have been some reviews about the smell but I found it to be really mild and nondescript, didnât bother me in the slightest. Sinks into the skin quickly too.

Es funktioniert. Ich habe mein Leben lang am Po und an den Beinen rote Punkte, teilweise Pickelchen, Probleme mit super empfindlicher Haut nach dem Rasieren, eingewachsene Haare, Haarentfernung war eine Qual. Diese Creme hat zwar Silikonöl drin, was ich sonst immer vermeide, aber die Inhaltsstoffe sind viel sinniger als Amlactin, was ja auch gegen Keratinosis pilaris helfen soll, aber nur viel Milchsäure enthält. Gold Bond Rough and Bumpy hat viel Shea Butter drin, und verschiedene Säuren. Es ist also eine Art chemisches Peeling mit starker Feuchtigkeitspflege dabei. Es riecht mir nicht unangenehm, eher ein bisschen nach Rosinen. Es enthält keine Duftstoffe! Das ist echt super bei meiner empfindlichen Haut. Man braucht nicht viel, das Hautgefühl ist nach dem gründlichen Auftragen schon ein bisschen sticky, aber bei Berührung super zart (Silikonöl eben).Ich habe es gestern Abend vorm Schlafengehen benutzt, es kribbelt ein bisschen nach dem Auftrag, aber das lässt schnell nach und ich habe super zarte Haut nach dem Aufwachen gehabt, die Rumpelecken sind viel glatter. Irre. Auch eben nach dem Rasieren hat es meine Haut super vertragen, normalerweise geht da gar nix ohne Brennen und Rasurbrand. Rote Stellen lassen wirklich nach.Ich benutze es jetzt mal ein paar Wochen zweimal täglich und melde mich zurück. Wäre nur echt gut, wenn es nicht so ein Riegel wäre, aber so kann man eben auch wirklich alles aufbrauchen. Ich bin Privatkäuferin und bekomme kein Geld für diese Rezension. Ich wünschte, ich könnte diese Creme im Handel kaufen, wie in den USA und England…

Llevo 3 dÃas usando la crema y estoy realmente sorprendida, tengo eczema y la estoy usando solamente en las zonas donde tengo la piel muy reseca y mucha comezón. La textura de mi piel ha mejorado notablemente y me ha disminuido la comezón, la estoy usando 3 a 4 veces al dÃa. Estoy esperanzada.
