Customers say
Customers report that the tennis ball launcher provides hours of entertainment for their dogs. However, the product receives mixed feedback regarding its functionality, with some saying it works well while others report it stops working completely. Moreover, the launch distance is limited to 10-15 feet, and customers find it loud and not worth the money. Additionally, the build quality and durability are concerns, with customers noting that the tennis balls are not durable and the product probably won’t last long.

The machine is fine, my dog is broken!
The machine itself works just as it should! It is easy to use – you or the pup are simply supposed to put the ball in the top “hopper” & it shoots it out. It has “legs” underneath so you can adjust the pitch of the throw. It is louder but not obnoxious, totally tolerable! My 1 year old dog is OBSESSSED with playing ball so we bought this hoping he would learn to play ball with himself after we are done for the day (because he is NEVER done!). Sadly, he doesn’t feel he should be the one to put the ball back into the hopper for a new pitch & feels he is above that & that his humans should serve him. Good product for normal dogs, not ones like my entitled boy lol.

Item sucks
Zero STARS Don’t waste your money this is my 3rd one thinking it was my dog and it’s not just took it out of box and already does not work doesn’t launch the ball it gets stuck this item is crap. Knew I should have went with another one. Just wasted my money and my dog is pissed

mediocre, not quite what was expected
I do like how it was accurate about the distance of the ball launch launcher. It is very loud and gets louder the more you turn up the dial. The spiky ball sometimes gets stuck in the blue cup on the little crevices. I am worried about dirt and saliva buildup with it not being easy to clean. The noise alert that you’re supposed to be able to turn on does not work when it’s supposed to. Sometimes the ball catches in the mechanism and you have to push it through. If this item had been not on sale, I wouldn’t have got it or I would’ve returned it for what it is listed as.REVISEDthe spiky ball was destroyed after 2 days, and the tennis ball will not go farther than 5 feet, i’ve tried chuck it balls and it doesn’t go any more than that either, i honestly can’t see a use for it after only a week of having it

Cool product, but loud!
Hoped to be able to use indoors but this unit is so loud. It does work well though as long as the tennis balls arenât too wet. The rubber balls flew much further. If you have a goofy dog like me that wonât get out of the way, this thing can output the ball pretty hard and fast. Be prepared! Itâs a good size for portability. It doesnât seem to be made of the thickest plastic so durability could be questionable. Iâm excited for it to get warmer out in Ohio so we can let the pups use it outside.

Obsessed
Our pup is obsessed with this!! We play it twice a day for about 20 minutes at time or we go outside to play. Chasing and retrieving is life for our doodle. I found that when using tennis balls they get wet and donât go as far so we have about 40 tennis balls and use each ball twice before moving on to the next one. The other thing is that many have stated it quit working after a bit. That happened to us. After two a day play time for two weeks ours started to get loud and slow down, to the point that the balls shooting out would bounce out about 2-3 feet away. Then it just stopped working. So I was going to throw it away and buy a new one. Like I said our dogs obsessed. Once I saw again how much I paid for it, I was not about to do that. So my son in law took it apart and found the two motors had collected all this dark hard melted plastic (tennis ball fuzz) and some un-melted tennis ball fluff that had been collected from all the tennis balls. Which explained the EXTRA long fuzz on the actual tennis balls as well. Had to use pliers and tweezers to get it out, wiped it clean, put it back together and it works like new. We are now using smooth plastic, rubber or foam like tennis balls and let me tell you no issues but they fly even further and we just need to wipe them down with a towel after each use or they donât go far.

My pup loves it!
Initially she wasn’t a fan the noise and the release were new. It took about 4 weeks of working with her and the launcher to build her comfort level with it and now she does it all by herself every time. It does launch farthest with the orange knobby balls. I think mechanism inside catches the knows better and the orange knobby ball is lighter so it goes farther. Occasionally the knobby ball will get stuck in the machine but I just tap the ball and it releases. I do try to wipe it down after she uses it because the drool and debris can build up. Overall if you are thinking about purchasing a ball launcher I would highly recommend this one. We have had it for 6 months now and use it 3-4 times a week. ****UPDATE 4 star to 2**** In August 2023 the adapter plug (female end) pushed through the plastic of the machine. We repaired it and then it stopped working all together. It is an expensive toy to last just over a year.

Dog tennis ball launcher
Iâve been wanting one of these for months. I knew my dog would love it. Only thing holding me back was knowing my dog would destroy the tennis balls. But I found the perfect solution! This machine has been amazing! We use chuckit ball (med size). The launcher has multiple height and speeds, to give just the perfect bounce. My dog goes nuts when she sees this toy come out! Itâs a good size and weight. Seems to be very sturdy. Super easy to use and adjust. Great functionality as you can plug in or use batteries with it. We love it! Highly recommend!!!!

Holy cow this is a game changer!
My 7 month old Lab puppy LOVES this, my Golden could care less lol. Machine is a bit loud, kind of sounds like a small plane landing. We use this outside and then bring in to shoot down the hall while we are watching tv at night. She did put the ball in a few times on her own but is still learning how to do this. This truly is amazing, she gets so happy when we pull it out, sure beats throwing the ball 300 times a day. I recommend having additional tennis balls ready to go, when they get wet they don’t shoot as far. We just use a rotation of about 20 different tennis balls, they are all store bought standard size. It does shoot pretty far but if it’s not change the tennis ball to a drier ball and put it at a higher speed on the side. First time using this I shot a ball down the hall and it was like a pinball hitting the ceiling and each door pretty hard, Leia loved it but boy was it loud. The spiky ball they send is super hard so be careful that doesn’t hit you pet in the face. Great product!
