Worth the money
Bought this to help with cuticle care and works great without turning me red and no bleeding. I had gel nail polish on for the first time and really struggled getting it off. Used this to get off my toe nails and it was fairly quick and didn’t damage my toenails. I wish I had thought to use it on my fingernails! They still look super unhappy from the soaking in nail polish remover.

It’s OK for a short while
It’s OK. The packaging is great, doesn’t take up a lot of space, has a variety of bits that are all labeled and a charging cable. All fine. I do not use it often, maybe once a month. It hasn’t needed a lot of charging either. However, recently it was losing it’s charge and speed. Now, it doesn’t run at all. I get this was an entry level product for me as a first time user. I got what I paid for and now I’ll be tossing it in the trash. Boo.

I was sent a used product
This is going straight back – I was really looking forward to getting this mani-pedi tool, so Iâm not just disappointed by what I got. Iâm thoroughly disgusted by what I got.It was my understanding I was buying and would receive a NEW, UNUSED âFinishing Touchâ mani-pedi tool w/accessories. However, I got the shipping box open, revealing the product in its own box, and immediately saw the sides of the box were oddly bowed out. I also found marks from some kind of liquid that had dried inside the clear plastic top of the package and some mild smudging on the back. However, the big tip-off that I got a used product was that the stickers had clearly been peeled halfway off, then carefully rubbed back in place. I unboxed the product myself to confirm it wasnât my imagination that it could be opened, then made to look unopened; it turned out to be ridiculously easy. Inside, I found lint, dirt, more stickers that had been partially peeled off and then re-affixed, a nick out of the edge of filing tool, little tears in the paper around the power cord, crumbles in the productâs paperwork, and the ring below the light on the tool was crooked and detached from the base on one side. I pressed on it and it snapped almost completely back into place. It appears the first owner broke it, repackaged it poorly, and then it was sold again as though it had never been sold before.Iâm really angry about receiving a beauty product thatâs USED after paying for one thatâs supposed to be new. I do 90% of my shopping online because I have a genetic immune deficiency, so getting a used, DIRTY product isnât just gross. Itâs DANGEROUS to me. How and why anyone would resell a USED product that is DIRTY, as if USED isnât bad enough, during the age of Covid is beyond me.

Great nail prep tool
This is more of an at home use one vs the one you would see the nail ladies using but it still works good. Someone who recommended it to me said it was great for prepping your nails to use prior to putting on press ons. I donât use press ons myself but I still wanted to give it a try. I feel like this is a great starter tool if you are trying to get used to doing this at home. This to me would be better to prep your own nails and not so much for acrylics. More like different heads to buff your nails. I definitely like the ease of use and the carrying case to keep it in. My only complaint is that when you insert the nail heads into the machine it doesnât seem to have an end point. So it lets you push it all the way in, making some of the tools more difficult to use. But if you pull the tool out a little, it still works just as good and easier to use. It wonât become loose as you use it either, so donât push it in all the way.
