Decent Primer, but Not a Game-Changer
I don’t love or hate it. It provides a smooth base for makeup and offers light hydration, which is suitable for my combination skin. While it helps makeup last a bit longer, I didn’t notice a significant difference in pore appearance or fine lines. Overall, it’s an affordable option, but I haven’t found it to be exceptional.

Amazing product! Keeps my foundation in place even when I sweat! My workplace is often very hot and without this I wouldnât be able to wear foundation. It feels like silk on your skin. I buy it about every 3 months so it last longer than youâd think. A small amount is all you need for your face and neck.

My favorite primer!
My favorite primer, goes on smooth (not sticky or greasy), blends my menopausal pores & hydrates nicely. I really do LOVE most Elf products, they’re budget friendly for quality stuff!

It’s OK, but I like the putty better.
The primer spreads very well, at the risk of dating myself, a little dab’ll do ya! It leaves a smooth surface on your skin, but I’m not too crazy about the feeling left behind. It isn’t exactly slimy, but it definitely feels different than their pore putty. That is why I only gave it 4 stars. As far as the wear factor, the makeup that I do use tends to be gone by the end of my day. But I also am not heavy handed with my makeup, so that may be a reason why. My makeup does feel greasy to me though after using the primer, so I use a mineral powder to handle that.I don’t know if I’ll order any more of this particular primer, but I’m also not throwing it away. I prefer the elf putty primer at this point. I’ll use the hydrating primer, maybe once I use it more I’ll like it better.

Itâs perfect for my girl!
My foundation blends so much better and lasts longer throughout the day when I use this. It also helps prevent dry patches and keeps my skin looking fresh and dewy. I really appreciate that it hydrates without clogging my pores or causing breakouts.

Just ok. Didn’t really hydrate my face at all and didn’t seem to make my face appear more smooth as a lot of primers do. Was not that impressed.

Best Moisturizer Ever!
I have tried many moisturizers over the years and this is the best I have ever used! I could tell the difference in my skin as soon as I put it on…I am now hooked on this product…it blows the other moisturizers out of the water! Highly recommend and so affordable!

First impressions:Compared to other primers I have tried (from Loreal and Revlon to name a few) I was surprised at how silky this primer felt. It took a little getting used to at first, but it was actually very pleasant.Application and quality:As for how it worked as a base, I am very pleased with it. It made the application of my foundation super smooth and did a good job blurring my pores. I am prone to oil on certain parts of my face, and was a bit worried that the hydrating aspect of the primer and the silkiness might contribute to an oily appearance, but with my use of it so far, I’ve not had any such troubles. It leaves my skin nice and matt, but feeling hydrated.It’s incredibly lightweight, so it’s fantastic if you don’t like the feeling of having a lot on your skin.Value for money:I would say it’s worth it. The price seems standard for primer, the quality is great, and a little primer goes a long way so it should last a while.
