Before I developed Drunk Elephant, I had all sorts of skin issues. I was a frustrated, confused brand-hopper searching for anything that would help. Nothing really worked, and if it did, it didn’t work for long. I started educating myself about ingredients, how skin reacts to them, and what roles they play in a formulation. I’m a huge fan of DE’s products and this is no different. Easy to apply and absorb serum
This Drunk Elephant Amino Rain Glasswater Serum is easy to open, easy to apply and goes on pretty well. I normally keep my face a bit damp when applying serums so they glide on better and I don’t have to use as much. This serum didn’t smell great but didn’t smell completely horrible either and the serum itself I would say is medium viscosity with a light tan color to it which blends away once applied. Although it can take a few weeks of constant use before seeing more dramatic results so far it pairs well with my skin(no reactions or breakouts) and leaves my skin feeling more hydrated.

nice light hydrating serum
This serum goes on like a light glossy lotion that spreads very easily. I did not notice any fragrance or strong smells. The product comes out easily and is easy to use. I followed the instructions but I live in a dry climate with very dry skin so I found it better to use a bit more than one pump of serum. I also found a little bit of extra hydration when I applied this on slightly dewy skin, though I felt that this serum was thick enough that it did not dry out of my skin. The ingredients are nice. I love that it contains more than one type of hyaluronic acid, which is a requirement for me and HYA serums! It helped keep my skin nice and tacky and hydrated for both day and nighttime use. I did not have any problems or irritation using this. My other skincare and make up layered pretty well, and it was light enough I barely noticed the addition of this to my skincare layering. I did not notice any major changes to my skin or face after using this multiple times, but I find it to be very pleasant and to increase the immediate hydration in my skin.

Totally worth the hype
This is my first time using Drunk Elephant, and I must say it is definitely worth the hype. I truly can’t believe how amazing my skin is looking after only a few days of using this. My skin actually looks younger. It is plump, smooth and super hydrated. This serum is lightweight and absorbs beautifully. I’ve tried many products that are said to give you glass skin, and this is the first time that I actually was able to achieve it. 10 out of 10 and worth every penny.

You can see the nice opalescence to the serum in the picture!
This is one of the most lightweight serums, ever! I love that this has a opalescence shine to it. It smoothes onto the skin easily and absorbs quicker than you can pat it in! I love this stuff! Right after using, your skin has a nice glow to it and feels incredibly soft and hydrated. This has a very slight scent to it that I really like! My skin feels so hydrated and firm.

Great brand, great product!
I’ve used other products from this brand and they’ve all performed beautifully. This is no different. This comes in one of the best packages I’ve seen. You don’t have to worry about losing a top, it’s easy to close and keeps the product from drying out. Now to the serum. It has a smell, but it’s not overwhelming. This goes on well and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy. I feel like my skin looks and feels better after using the for just a week. I can’t yet speak to the firming qualities, but I do plan on continuing this because even without that I love this.

This serum feels very luxurious and left my skin feeling shiny and hydrated. It has a pearly opalescent sheen, looks almost like a sheer highlighter. Directions say to use once per day. The bottle has a twist cap with a pump that pops up. I’ve used Drunk Elephant products before and they’re all effective and have top quality ingredients.
