Helpful and reliable!
I purchased this in 2021 and it still works well! I’m a backyard gardener with raised beds and this gauge helps me decide when to harden off seedlings, plant tomatoes, and put up shade cloth. It seems quite accurate, too. I hang it where its protected from rain/water.

This has been my favorite thermometer over the past year for min/max readings. No wi-fi or internet needed. Simple, straight-forward, works. Just ordered 2 more to put in two garden beds to compare how well winter protection on the garden bed works (one covered, other not).I use this to take pics of the min/max and then reset it when I want. Works perfectly for that.I have a different digital remote thermometer that works well too, but its reading of the min/max reset at midnight and it won’t show the day’s min and max on same screen. That one does let us check current temps and do alarms, so use it for that. This one is better than that for min/max though. It also gives temp to one decimal point, whereas the other one is always roinding up to nearest whole number (even if .1). So this one seema more accurate.When I got this and the digital remote one I also got an old clockface type (which totally failed to weather the weather). This min/max/current temp has lasted 120° F+ and single digit° F temps just fine, still accurate it seems too.

love this for my hoop house. Gives me the temp data I need to know when to plant and when to close up or open up. I have had three of these. Not because the quality is poor, but because once the life of it has died I order the exact one again because how much it. Giving in the high and low of each day is much needed for my type of gardening.

Handy Greenhouse device
This greenhouse thermometer is easy to use – to clear data and to read. You can see the coldest your greenhouse temp dropped to and the highest along with the current greenhouse temp. This is really valuable in learning when to heat/vent etc and how much. It has been incredibly helpful in maintaining my greenhouse environment. It is a great value for how useful it is and the dark green casing looks charming.

Completely random temp and not linear
The thermometer looks fine, but it is worthless since its temperature error is not linear, and it is random. Compared to two industrial thermometers that are around two degrees apart, this thermometer converges with the other two thermometers at around 80 degrees and from there randomly differs from 4 to 12 degrees.I would not mind mentally adding or subtracting 2 or 10 degrees if the difference was linearly consistent, but it is not. Sometimes the difference is 1 degree, other times it is 12 degrees. It is always a guess with these mass-produced chinese devices. Some could be accurate, most are not.

Very pleased with this. I had an old analogue ‘max & min’ thermometer in my greenhouse, which never seemed very accurate and I decided to update it with something more modern. For the price I wasn’t expecting anything amazing, but this little gadget has proved really good for tracking the temperature extremes through a recent hot spell and also for monitoring the overnight temperature whilst we were still getting occasional frosts.
