Easy to use, great customer service
I was able to try both thermometers, so here’s my feedback that will hopefully be useful for the next person. I originally ordered the thin thermometer but there was an issue so then I tried the one with the bigger screen. If I had to choose between the two, I would prefer the thin thermometer.The thin thermometer is your regular, basic bbt thermometer. To use, you turn it on, it beeps, then stick it under your tongue, all the way to the back (on either the right or left side), when you first wake up in the morning. It’s best to have at least 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep for the best accuracy. Then it beeps twice, and then you can remove it from your mouth. You would then log your temp and the time on your bbt chart. If you wake up and it’s still dark, you’ll need to use a light source like the light from your phone screen to see the numbers. You can also just read your temp later on in the day when you’re more awake because the thermometer remembers your last reading, but be sure to note the time that you took your temp.The bigger screen thermometer is more for someone who prefers to read bigger numbers with a backlight. You won’t need a light source to see the numbers because it’s already built in. The beeping sound is also louder. I wake up early when it’s still dark so I did find the backlight blinding and the beep startling when I’m still groggy from waking up first thing in the morning. To resolve the light issue, I just flip the thermometer down. I haven’t found a fix around the louder beep yet. Hope this helps!

Updated Review – Great Customer Service!
Update 11/7/24:This company was super great to work with. They saw my complaints, and sent me an upgraded version of their thermometer to try. It works great! It lights up, the numbers are large, and the button is easy to press. And it’s easy to look back later at the temperature that was taken to record later if I want to do it that way. The customer service was top notch, so I would order from them again now.Original review:I wouldn’t order this again. I didn’t realize that the temperature doesn’t light up. So since I’m using it for taking BBT first thing in the morning before getting up, it’s dark, and I can’t see the temperature. So then I have to come back later to actually record the temperature. I don’t like the way you have to hold the button down in order to get the prior reading instead of it just showing it like others usually do. Also, pushing the button is kind of difficult. I wish it was a bigger button. I also question the accuracy a bit since it measures way different than the other thermometer I had. I got it to have more precise measurement since my other one only measured to one decimal point, but this one will measure at least .5 degrees off from other other one.

Great Thermometer with minor design flaws
This digital basal thermometer works excellently âit’s accurate, reliable, and easy to use. However, there are two small drawbacks. First, the lack of a backlight makes it a bit tricky to read in the dark, especially first thing in the morning. Iâd recommend the backlight version for easier use. Second, the power button is a bit hard to press, which can be inconvenient. Aside from these minor issues, it’s a great thermometer!

Highly Recommend! (Get the light up one)
I love this thing!! Definitely get the one with the big light-up display. It is so incredibly helpful for when you first wake up. I am able to see the temperature clearly in the dark so I donât have move around and turn on the light or wait for my eyes to adjust. Itâs easy to transport, easy to clean, and reliable. The only downside is the time it takes. I have trouble staying awake while waiting. I do feel like itâs a little more than just 60 seconds, but I do think itâs worth it for the accuracy. It also beeps in case I drift off lol. I would definitely highly recommend.

Difficult button
Good for reading BBT, quiet enough doesnât disturb partner, not backlit. The only hard part is the button is a touchpad and I have to push it with the tip of my nail. If I press with my fingertip it doesnât turn on. Aside from the button difficulty, it does the job.

Used it for 11 months and it worked great until it started failing. I couldnât see the full screen anymore. I replaced the battery with the provided extra battery but it didnât fix the issue. I contacted the company and their customer service was great! They sent me a replacement thermometer right away. It arrived quickly. Happy with this purchase and would purchase again if needed. Recommend.

Accurate but slow reading
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this because of the 2 decimals. I am using it to track my menstrual cycle. It seems very accurate but the probe does take awhile to result

I have seen complaints that it’s slow but that’s the point. It takes a few minutes for the thermometer to warm up to give an accurate reading. The battery has already lasted much longer than another generic thermometer I bought on Amazon (only 1 decimal place on the other one too). I do wish it had a light up screen or the reading was further away so I can read without removing from my mouth, as sometimes I like to take 2 readings to ensure accuracy. I don’t think it recalls the previous temp reading so you have to try and read before turning off. Not a huge issue but if you’ve forgotten the reading cos you just woke up it can be annoying. Came with an extra free battery as well but haven’t needed it so far. I have found it very useful for tracking BBT.

Using for Basel temperature. It does take up to 60 seconds to get a reading as itâs more precise, so bear with it. It was set to F first then was able to change to °C. Saw good and bad reviews and the overall great rating so gave it a try and happy with it.
