Good Starter Option if Youâre Curious About Microneedling
I’ve just begun taking better care of my skin after years of neglect and have been having fun trying new skincare products and treatments. Iâve been curious about microneedling and decided to try this “Derma Stamp Pen, Adjustable Microneedles Stamp for Face and Body” by Autsmile. I liked that this tool allows you to adjust the needle depth. I’ve done acupuncture monthly for over a decade and understand that different areas of the body respond differently to needle depth, so I liked this feature. The pen arrived sealed in what resembled a sterilization bag. The instructions advised sterilizing the needles before use. I fully extended the needles, filled the cap with rubbing alcohol, and let it soak for about an hour. Before using the stamp, I washed my face to start with clean skin.It didnât take long to stamp my entire face, avoiding only the nose. I used a shallower depth for bony areas like between my eyebrows and on my chin, and a deeper setting for the cheeks. In some areas, I started shallow and adjusted deeper. The process felt oddly satisfying. While needling, I didnât feel much discomfort, but afterward, my face had a tingling or slightly burning sensation. When I looked in the mirror, I was surprised to see how red my face was, it looked like I was sunburned. I’d watched videos beforehand, so I knew to expect redness, but it was still surprising given how painless the process felt.I washed my face again and applied a thick layer of moisturizer. I expected to wake up with lingering redness, but my skin looked normal the next morning. Some fine lines even looked slightly reduced.Iâve only used the stamp once so far, but the results seem promising. Based on what Iâve read, microneedling should be spaced four to six weeks apart, and Iâm planning to repeat the process in a month.Overall, if youâre curious about microneedling and not ready to invest in a more expensive tool, I recommend this stamp. It’s easy to use and reasonably priced. Just note that the instructions donât mention how often to replace the tool, and since I’ve only used it once, I can’t speak to its long-term durability.

Easy targeted application
The instructions included on the packaging are very basic, so be sure to do plenty of research before using if you haven’t used it yourself before. This is my first experience with a micro needling stamp pen, but I have used a roller in the past. I really enjoy a few things about this stamp pen. The needle length is adjustable. I have more control and can better target specific areas. You can use the cap to wash the needles in alcohol. You can extend the needles with the cap on since the pen only goes 5mm or so into the cap. This means that you can set the cap on a flat surface and add alcohol into it, then place the pen, then extend the needles into the alcohol so that they can soak for a little bit.The value for money on this is great as well. It’s a very affordable price so that you can purchase another once the needles start to dull and for hygiene purposes.I would absolutely order this again. Great product!

Needle size dial is inaccurate
To be honest, I don’t know how I feel about this yet. I mean, it’s a very affordable derma stamp. It doesn’t hurt much to use as long as you don’t go too deep (especially if you’re not used to microneedling). It’s very easy to use. It generally does what it says it does. And I really love that it has multiple length options for different functionality. It even seems like it’s generally well-made.Here’s the issue though. The sizes listed aren’t accurate.I’ve been microneedling for years as part of my skincare routine, using anywhere from 0.25 mm t 2.0 mm derma rollers, stamps, and pens. The 0.25mm is generally used to help you absorb other skin care products like serums for example. It’s the gentlest option. But on this device, 0.25 mm just barely shows the ends of the needles. They don’t really even come out of the plastic housing enough to do anything. The image I’ve attached is at the 0.25 mm setting so you can see what I mean. If you’ve used one before, you’ll know that isn’t what a 0.25mm derma stamp looks like.So the problem is you don’t really know the length of the needles you’re using, and that’s a big turn off as a user.

Amazing precision tool for microneedling beginners and pros alike
This microneedling stamper is such a great findâespecially at just $10! What really sets it apart is the adjustable needle length, which makes it perfect for beginners who want to start slow and gradually work their way up to more dramatic treatments. Being able to customize the depth gives you a lot more control over your skincare routine.I also love that this is a stamper and not a roller. Stampers are gentler on the skin and donât cause the same kind of unnecessary microtears that rolling tools can. This lets you really target specific areas (like fine lines, scars, or texture) without overdoing it.The handle has a great grip and feels secure in your hand while you work, and the retractable needle design adds an extra layer of safety when youâre not using it. The cap is a thoughtful touch, keeping everything clean and the needles protected between uses.Overall, this is a well-designed, precise, and beginner-friendly tool that offers the flexibility to scale up your microneedling routine over time. Excellent value for the price.

Works as intended
This derma stamp pen, is easy to use and does what is it intended to do. It is just the right size, to comfortably fit in your hands. I was slightly worried it would be larger, according to the photos, but I’m happy with how the product is physically when I received it.One of the really cool features is that it does have adjustable needle settings! After using this stamp pen, I have confirmed that I personally prefer a micro needling roller, because I feel it is way faster and easier to use, covering a larger area more quickly. This is great if you want to target a specific spot.Overall, it is a decent micro needling stamp pen.
