Amazingly Effective and Beginner-Friendly
Iâve never used a derma roller before, but I wanted to try this out because my skin has been growing moles lately and I figured itâd be good to take better care of my skin. This derma roller is highly beginner-friendly. I opened the box, read the instructions, and I was essentially good to go. I attached the 16 cartridge, turned it on, and set it to the correct size depending on the area of my face I was working on. It does not hurt at all, which I was scared about because the process involves damaging the skin to stimulate new collagen growth. I was definitely skeptical at first, but just the day after I felt my skin was a lot less oily than it usually is. The months-old scar I used it on is still very apparent, but I notice that it has become less red. This is great progress! The price is indeed a bit steep, but the product seems safe, sterile, and effective. I would definitely get this again.

Affordable, professional-grade microneedling at home
I approached using the microneedling pen with a lot of hesitation. Microneedling can seem invasive, but the benefits are highly praised in the dermatology community, so I decided to overcome my fears and give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by how manageable this at-home procedure turned out to be. Since it was my first experience, I opted for caution and set the needle depth to only 0.5 mm, along with a conservative speed setting of level 1. My main goal for this first attempt was to gauge my tolerance and develop the proper technique for using the device. To my surprise, it was fairly painless; I’ve experienced more discomfort getting tattoos.The package includes a charger and adapter, 10 needle cartridges, a rechargeable microneedling pen, and a helpful manual. The needle cartridges came tightly sealed, ensuring they were sterilized. I believe the cartridges included in this kit are the 36-needle kind (reference my photo of the manual). You can adjust the pen’s speed from 1 to 6, with 6 being the fastest. The needle depth can also be modified, ranging from 0.25 mm to 2.5 mm.I recommend consulting reputable online sources on how to properly sanitize your skin, maneuver the device, and determine the appropriate needle depth based on the condition you want to treat. Post-treatment care and overall hygiene are crucial considerations as well.Iâm excited to incorporate microneedling treatments into my skincare routine now that I have this device.

Noticeable upgrade from my old one
This derma roller is definitely an improvement over the older one I had. Itâs easier to use and has a more comfortable handle. I use it once a week and follow up with one of my more gentle serums, and my skin feels refreshed afterwards. Simple, easy to use, and a nice upgrade to my routine..
