HOW TO USE
Step 1
Rub the product between your hands and apply on soaking wet hair with the “praying hands” method, smoothing from top to ends.
Step 2
Flip your head upside down and scrunch gently with upwards motions to encourage curl to spring back and form their pattern.
Step 3
Air dry or diffuse. Make sure you flip your head in all directions while drying to increase volume. Do not touch hair while drying.
Step 4
Once completely dry, scrunch again to ‘break the cast’, the crunchy feeling gels greate, and make your hair super soft and bouncy.

MOSITURE & DEFINITION – The Soufflé is a moisturiser AND a medium hold styling gel all in one! It is a styling gel with a unique texture, a semi-solid jelly which provides moisture, bouncy hold and definition to any curl type.
HOW THE MAGIC HAPPENS – After it is applied, the Soufflé creates a slight “cast” on the curls, which traps moisture inside and gives definition. This will feel slightly hard to the touch while the curls are drying, but once they are completely dry you just need to gently “scrunch” your hair upwards to break the cast and reveal soft, defined curls.

This product worked well in my naturally curly hair that is a bit frizzy without product. It is especially helpful on humid days. Would recommend!

Smells Divine
First time using Curl Smith so I can only review based on initial reaction to it. The smell to this product is amazing! It has a lovely scent that isnât too overwhelming.The consistency of it is slime like â I know that sounds weird but thatâs the only way I can describe it. Itâs not fully solid when you try to scoop it out of the container. I couldnât tell if a little goes a long way. My hair is super tick so I used a fair amount. I did notice my curls were more defined while wet so Iâm hoping that sticks when they dry.Overall I will definitely be adding this to my hair product rotation.

Not like it used to be
This has been a life saver for my weird combo hair texture for several years. I normally buy this at Ulta as itâs the only place you can buy it. With the nearest one 2 hours from me, I decided to buy on Amazon. I trusted it came from CurlSmith as it was the store name on here.The ups and downs. The up part is, the consistency is back like the original. The down part is the aloe has been pushed up higher on the ingredient list (see pics). I am allergic to aloe at a higher amount and now my scalp is now broken out, along with my hands. The other down part I have is the smell is not even the same as the last 3 jars Iâve had.So, either this is fake or CurlSmith has changed again.

I hv bn through a lot of gels. This one is great doesnât make hair crunchy. I Love It. It does hv weird feel but just put it on it works. My hair is semi curly helps define my curls. U may need to work with it to determine the amount u need to use

This deserves more than 5 stars tbh. I have lots of wavy, fine strands of hair. My wave is probably 2a but is very inconsistent and hard to give body to. Using this as per the instructions gives me consistent and resilient waves that are more like 2b. Best piece of advice I can give: DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THE CAST. This product is SUPPOSED to make your curls stiff and crispy; with just 10 minutes of scrunching out when your hair is dry, the cast will disappear. Think of it like a plaster-cast that helps form the shape of the curls beneath that you then break away. I have very fine hair that gets greasy super quickly, but this cast comes out perfectly in my hair with no lingering product. You would never even know it had been there. Even more amazingly â yesterday I went walking on a windy beach, slept on my hair during the night, and my waves were still perfect the next day. This is unheard of. I have never liked my hair, it is messy and frizzy and fine and the waves seem random and can’t be easily tamed. Honestly this gives me the hair I’ve always wanted. I can’t find a single fault with it. Worth the price 100%, I promise.
