Good Nail Clipper
I love this nail clipper, works great. My Anny doesn’t mind having her nails done {I started playing with her paws since she was a pup @ 2 months old, she is going to be 11 yrs old this month}. I decided to start grooming her myself, the groomer I had went up in the price… at first I was a scared to use them but they are very easy to use, seem well made, light weight, I have a big hand and they fit good and easy to hold, her nails aren’t small I’d say a medium size and the clipper works great

Works exactly as well as it says it will.
My two cats hate being groomed, but this speeds it up little and cuts their murder mittens down so they wonât kills me. The clipper is very good quality and Iâm not worried about it breaking. It is really easy to clean, the color is good, and itâs comfortable in my hand.

Well made clippers, don’t rely on safety
These are very well made. They feel very solid and have worked well mechanically. If your dog tolerates these, you can get the job done fairly quickly. However, we have a very active black lab puppy that has grown to dislike these despite trying to introduce these to her gradually. As a result, trimming her nails has become quite an arduous two-person task. The safety for these clippers is also a little too generous, allowing you to clip several millimeters at a time, which would often put you into the nail’s quick. So, when using these, I would usually flip the safety to the side and make several small clips so as not to cut to the quick (a difficult task when your dog has black nails).Due to our dog’s aversion to these clippers and the difficulty of ensuring we don’t cut her nails to the quick, I’ve gone back to using a Dremel 7300-N/8 MiniMite 4.8-Volt Cordless Two-Speed Rotary Tool. The Dremel is slower, but it is much easier to stop before the quick, and our dog seems to tolerate it much better (we occupy her with a Kong filled with some peanut butter and it works great).Bottom line, these clippers are very well made and don’t specifically have any flaws that need improving as far as nail trimmers go. If your dog tolerates nail trimmers, get these. If you have a dog that squirms, or your dog has dark nails, consider a rotary tool. You may just have to try both, as we did, to find out what works best for your dog.I hope this was helpful and you find the best way to manage your dog’s nails. If you have a dog with large thick black nails these clippers are great. They are very sharp and easy to grip making it quicker and easier to cut your dog’s nails. I was about to take the dog to the groomer because I was having a difficult time with the other clippers I had that weren’t sharper enough but I saw these online and am so glad I ordered them. They cut easily and do a very good job.
