Great everyday moisturizer
Best lightweight face lotion on the market! I love the added benefit of sunscreen in it. I used it daily during my beach trip and never got sunburned. Easy to dispense a little or a lot. No fragrance. Not greasy and a great base under makeup. I am a repeat customer.

Good over all product, spf is always a plus.Itâs not super moisturizing but that is to be expected with anything labeled âsuper lightâ.I liked it but I didnât feel like it did anything special. If you just need a light sunscreen and not a moisturizer itâs perfect. No offensive smells either.

My holy grail drugstore SPF moisturizer!
ETA: it’s been years since I left this review and this is still in my top three for the US market (Korea and Japan have us beat due to more modern filters). I just wish it were available in SPF 50 and maybe a larger tube….I absolutely love this stuff! I have combination skin with the start of some fine lines, but no major skin issues. I occasionally get mild hormonal breakouts, but nothing major. I’ve been using the CeraVe AM/PM Moisturizing Lotions for over a year now and have been very pleased with the PM, but disliked the tacky, pilly AM consistency. I could make it work but had to apply very very carefully. So, despite the fact that this one is about twice the price per ounce, I decided to give it a shot as an alternative, and I’m SO glad I did!The consistency is pretty close to that of the PM lotion, but a little more fluid and less gel-like. It absorbs quickly and spreads smoothly without any dragging, pilling, or goopy white cast. It works great under makeup and in conjunction with other skincare products (of various consistencies) without any gumminess, rolling, peeling or weird color changes. I haven’t had this react weirdly with any other products at all, inclusing makeup or other sunscreens added later in the day.The scent is light and inoffensive. A little sunscreen-y for a minute, but nothing overpowering. I usually use two pumps for my face just to ensure decent SPF coverage, and it still melts in and doesn’t leave a white cast. (ETA Since my original review, I’ve used a measuring spoon and discovered that you need 4 pumps to reach 1/4tsp, but even that much melts in beautifully!)My skin feels moisturized and I haven’t gotten any burns while wearing it, so if nothing else, it fulfills its primary functions well.The finish is a lot more matte than the AM Moisturizing Lotion too. Not a super dry kind of matte, but natural looking rather than greasy or excessively shiny, even when layered over serums that contain oils. It looks a wee bit shiny for a few minutes but dries down quickly.While it IS considerably pricier than the AM Moisturizing Lotion (a dollar or so more per package, but at 1.7oz vs 3oz), it’s still budget-friendly. It’s also easy to find pretty much everywhere, although it’s a little harder right now just because the internet is waking people up to the brand.The pump is easy to use and mine didn’t require any priming. I don’t love packages that stand on their caps because I’m clumsy and knock things over, but overall it’s not bad. It has the standard slightly clinical CeraVe aesthetic made a bit sleeker with the silver on the lid. The cap does develop little pressure lines over time, even if you’re gentle with it. That might not happen if you stored it on its side.The only thing I miss from the AM Moisturizing Lotion is the niacinamide. If they added it to this product and maintained the lighter consistency, I would be thrilled. In the meantime, I get it from serums and my PM lotion.Overall, this is definitely my favorite drugstore facial lotion with SPF and I don’t plan on swapping any time soon!

El uso de productos para la piel es algo muy personal puesto que cada piel es diferente y lo que a uno le va muy bien, a otro le va fatal. En mi caso, no tengo la piel ni grasa ni seca, más bien mixta-deshidratada. He usado cremas para pieles secas, pero me producen grasa. También he usado cremas para pieles grasas, pero me irritan. Debo decir que, hasta el momento, esta crema me ha ido muy bien. La he comprado dos veces. Es una crema ligera que unifica el tono de la piel de una forma increÃble. Hidrata sin producir grasa. Además, lleva protección solar. No es económica, pero teniendo en cuenta lo importante que es cuidar la piel y lo delicadas que son algunas pieles (como la mÃa), la seguiré comprando siempre y cuando me siga yendo bien.
