Absolutely …Ahhhhmazing!
If you are debating on whether to get this or not for your furry kids, let us help you and say… try it!It is the BEST thing ever. Our baby has been getting his nails professionally done for 12 years. When he was 2 yrs old I accidentally clipped too much of one nail and he bled, I was devastated that I hurt him. Ever since then, I have been traumatized to clip his nails myself. Perhaps this has happened to some of you parents out there too!So, we have now moved to a different state and have had the hardest time finding a truly loving & caring Manicurist for his “mani & pedi”. It’s been ridiculous! After watching our regular Manicurist for many years, I said, “You know what! I am going to get an electric nail trimmer and try it! What’s there to lose?!”.Received it, and I have to say, I was super intimidated by the whole thing, the noise, the speed, how to hold it, angle it, etc.. I was nervous when first trying it. I followed the tips, let my baby smell it, turn it on for him to hear the noise and get used to it (he is very cool noises already), I pretended to trim his nails by touching them with the side that didn’t have the trimmer going and say “Perfect! Good boy!” … He was very cool about it, I am sure I was the only one that was nervous.I started with one nail as my heart raced and left it on for a few seconds, took it away and said, “Everything is okay, I can do this!” I went in again on the other side of the nail, I did this to a few nails, took a few breaths between to stay calm and honestly, it took me a few minutes to get the hang of it, but once I did, it was FABULOUS!I promise, once you do get the hang of it, of how to hold it, angle it, how much it trims and how fast it grinds, the noise, the smell, and how your touch affects it, you become more confident and it becomes very easy.By the time I was on his 4th paw, I was rocking it, my angling was wonderful and his nails were looking wonderful! I did every nail little by little, I even went back once I felt more comfortable, I did them all a few times to get them as short as possible. I keep the protector on it and use it that way to this day and on the lowest speed, I only keep it on each nail a few seconds at a time, it grinds fast, which I can control by checking every few seconds and I am no longer scared to trim his nails myself! I was so happy and felt so thankful that I gave it a try!We couldn’t be any more happier. Not only can I trim his nails at anytime I want, wherever I want, but it is also saving us $15 usd, each time I do! :-)The device itself is very nice and so far seems very durable. It’s fantastic that you can charge it and easy to clean. I do recommend that you clip any little hairs your baby has prior to using it that may go over his nails so that you do not hurt them!Mommy is now his (VERY loving & caring) personal Manicurist for ever!! :)*****5 million stars, highly recommend.

Super quiet, does the job!
This nail trimmer is awesome! I watched some videos and was worried about the volume of this, but the videos do this no justice. This thing is super quiet. I’ve used it on my 4 month old pup and it doesn’t bother her at all. Getting my 9 year old, that HATES his nails trimmed has been easier because it’s so quiet. Both my dogs have black nails so this makes easy just to take a little off at a time and not hit the blood vessel in the nail as well. I would recommend.

Game changer
I use this on my dog every time her nails start to grow. She would get nervous at the groomers flinch and freak out. This helped me maintain her nails short and comfortable. It has a good battery life and can charge with an iPhone plug which is convenient. It is not too loud. Please start with using for about 1-2 minutes and add more time every time so that your dog can adjust to it to prevent resistance to something foreign to them. Now she just lays down and lets me do them. It is light weight, easy to use and clean. This product will keep your puppyâs paws well maintained.

Iâm a dog groomer, works amazing on an average of 7/10 dogs. Most dogs donât mind it at all, itâs very quiet. I usually trim nail first and then use the grinder to make it smooth and shorter.Does not work on most large dogs – their nail is too big to fit in the space.

Great product! Although it takes a while to grind my dogsâ nails (theyâre large dogs with large nails), itâs a lot less scary than using the nail guillotine and itâs really effective! My dogs are really calm when their nails are being ground too, which is great!

Our large breed rescue pup has solid black nails and is generally pretty apprehensive of new things. We have been having the vet trim her nails, but obviously that isn’t always convenient. Opted to order this and slowly introduce it, one nail at a time… that was the plan.To my surprise, my girl barely noticed it, the noise is pretty minimal and there is very little vibration – she basically just lays there and lets me work on her nails. Battery power off of one charge is impressive, we let it charge for the morning then filed all of her nails, including dew claws, with no drop in power or speed. The guard is great and overall, I am pretty pleased with our purchase.A few cons – is you are using this to file nails down, as we are, with no clipping first, it will be slower progress. As I said, ours is a large breed dog, and admittedly, her nails were a little longer than I would normally let them get. It does also cause the nail to get hot to the touch if you hold it to the head too long, but it was easy to navigate the process and get a rhythm. We repeated the routine for a few days in a row (without an additional charge I might add) until they were a length we liked, and will make it a weekly or biweekly process going forward. I am also questioning how long the head will last before I have to replace it, but we shall see. Only final note, if you have smaller hands you may find it a bit too large to hold, flip the switch and hold a dog paw at the same time.
