Very simple to use blood pressure monitor
I really like using this blood pressure monitor. Itâs pretty light weight, but with excellent build quality. And the rechargeable battery lasts a long time. Iâve gotten over a hundred readings off of one charge. As a reminder, if you plan on using the date & time feature (for the memory feature), leave the unit switched to on and just use the power button on the face of the unit to switch it off & on. If you switch it to off on the side of the unit, you will have to redo the date & time when you switch it back to the on position. That could become a hassle. The battery life doesnât seem to be affected by keeping the unit switched to on full time. The readings donât take very long. Youâll get your blood pressure reading in under 45 seconds. And the display is easy to read in a lit area. Very simple!One last useful tip: To get the most accurate reading possible, you should hold your wrist at the same height as your heart. So what I do is bend my elbow and bring my wrist that has the monitor on it to my chest where my heart is, then bring my arm away from my chest a couple of inches and hold it there until the reading is complete. I get consistent results this way. I hope this helps someone out there!

As a nurse , I use this often. It’s pretty accurate and easy to use, has a good display, and does what it’s supposed to do. Keep in mind wrist cuffs aren’t the most reliable but it does work

Edit: over a year later, itâs still works amazing. I now have experience with other cuffs and I find this one preferable because itâs easy enough to read that I can see it from about 10 feet away when Iâm checking someone elseâs pressure.I liked this one because Iâve been through 1000âs of AAA batteries with the one I had.Itâs important to have cuff at heart level – thatâs why a arm cuff is where it is. This offers an elegant simplicity and ease of use.It actually talks you through the process telling you where to hold wrist – reads the pressure after taken- and letâs you know if normal or high/low. The readout is large and easy to see from a distance.For price/ ease of use from child to blind person/ rechargeableI think this is one of the best Iâve seen. Weather you chose this or another brand :Itâs important to take blood pressure AFTER sitting for 5-10 min & remember one reading isnât as important as knowing an average over time. If you take Blood Pressure meds you should consider having your own cuff a priority- if youâre super healthy- great – this letâs you check. I see many athletes with pressure issues. If you donât check you donât know.A pressure cuff is great gift Idea.
