How Did We Get Our Start?
Back in the mid-1990s, our founder Bill Whyte worked as a carpenter. He worked hard, and so did his hands. They would often split and crack in the frigid New England winters. One night, seeking a soothing solution, he mixed up some beeswax and olive oil to create a simple herbal balm. It helped his hands so much, he decided to share it with everyone he knew – and the rest, as they say, is Badger history.

Better sunscreen option
Itâs thick and you really have to squeeze to get out, but it rubs in well and seems to work fine. We used at the beach so had to reapply after sometime, as is expected.

Clean sunscreen that really works!
It seems to really work. We are not even a bit red after spending afternoon out at the pool. It is really thick tho so you will be needing another one pretty quickly especially if you have multiple kids. It does not give the white residue once applied. Itâs just the consistency is thick. Also, not a big fan of the smell. It is unscented but it does have that natural smell to it. But it is made with clean ingredients and overall I love it. I will be buying this throughout this summer!

Worked great for us
We were recently in the Caribbean under intense sun, and spent lots of time, snorkeling, and in the sun. I expected times we were in the water and or under the sun for as much as four hours at a time. On a couple of vacations, we reapplied some to the face. This product is OK to apply. Itâs thick and it sticks around for a very long time on the skin. We only had sunburns in small places we missed or when clothing rubbed it off. I really appreciate that this new mineral type sunscreen has has none of the harmful chemicals and is expected to be better to use for your skin.

Difficult to squeeze out
Really thick and almost gets stuck in the tube. But still really good sunscreen once it’s out of the bottle lol. So probably still worth the buy since it’s reef safe and all that. 🙂

Would recommend: works great!
Bought a second tube because it works great! The product is a thicker consistency so it takes a little effort to apply it everywhere but this ensures good coverage unlike a spray. I also love that it has no scent and clean ingredients.

No white cast, nice shine, all natural ingredients
Continuously learning about toxins and chemicals, I really wanted a sunscreen without suspect ingredients created in a lab. I also wanted mineral sunscreen that wasnât awful in white cast or difficult to rub in. Badger sport has been just that! Consistency does come out thick and not liquidy. But give it a normal rub into the skin and itâll spread how you need it to. This product also leaves a lot of shine on the skin, personally I like that and it feels hydrating on my skin vs dry and chalky. And I am a very fair skinned person, but Iâve had mineral sunscreen that still leaves me looking like a ghost. This sunscreen hasnât done that at all which is amazing.

Works well but difficult to apply
I bought this because it’s reef safe. As far as I can tell it protects well from the sun, but it is *super* thick and difficult to spread on the skin. It’s even difficult to squeeze out of the tube it’s so thick. It works well it’s just hard to apply.

Perfect for constant use
I love this sunscreen. I do environmental research and am constantly outside for 8-12 hours a day. My mom bought some of this for me to try last year, and now I wonât use anything else! I love how it is organic and reef friendly, cruelty free and 50% recycled packaging. I have acne-prone skin and I can use this every day (multiple times a day) without breaking out. It moisturizes my skin and gives it a glow. It feels a bit oily when it goes on, but not in a bad way. This is the perfect protective sunscreen to use constantly during my research.
