Why this book? Why take the time to write this book? Because when I started my journey to learn about Spinal Cord Stimulators (SCS), I could find very little written about them. Most of what you could read was on the manufactures websites and I read those with some doubt as they obviously want to promote their product. What you will read here is my journey. I will try and help you understand my physical condition, what I learned through my research and how things have worked out for me, perhaps they will work for you, but ultimately it is your decision. I went from pain and walking with a cane to a pretty much normal life. I encourage you to become a researcher also, study your options, interview people who have had this treatment and make your own decision. I give you the tools to do this here in this book.

This book was helpful in one persons view of the spinal cord stimulator.. references helpful and suggestions to consider. Wish there was a little more detail. Found it helpful as a starting point and for the price, not bad!

A definative study on what you need to know about getting a S.C.S. Implant.
Russ does most of the heavy research and asks most of the important questions that you need to know before you go ahead with deciding to get this implant put into you. As the population gets older, more and more people are going to want to know what their options are for back pain relief. Russ puts out the information that you need to know in an easy to read format All of the different Spinal Cord Stimulators that are in the market today are discussed and you can compare which one is best for you. I would highly recommend that you read this book before you go to a surgeon to get this device put in.

This is a super book well written well researched. If you have any questions about what a spinal cord stimulator does or how it works this will answer them for you I highly recommend. This book is written from the authors real life experience.
