OMG! I have a severe low back injury that is difficult to heal. This back brace is saving my sanity! I can adjust it for sitting or standing with the 2 straps.It’s soft so the impact to the body is minimal. I also appreciated a decent price since my insurance doesn’t pay for braces. This brace is allowing me to stand, walk, cook, and participate in life!

Fits Well On My Pear Shape, Versatile, Good Height For Back Coverage, Thorough Instructions
This is the second Rakiie back brace I own now — the first was a decent quality posture brace that is a total back-saver when I’m driving long distances. I have arthritis in my lower back, and I’m pear-shaped, so it can be a challenge to find a brace that both fits my curves and stays put. This is one of the better ones for me.My waist is currently 40″ and my hips are 47″, and support is needed right between those 2 measurements (preferably a bit lower), so you can see my predicament. Braces always tend to slide up when I move around, depriving me of the support where I need it.I got this XL size because it’s supposed to fit a waist measuring 45″-51″ and I’m taking my hips into consideration here. I was a bit concerned about the velcro coverage being enough for me to tighten it sufficiently as needed, but it turns out that’s not a problem at all. There is good velcro coverage. There is also an extender piece for anyone who needs more length, which is handy.This fits me well lower down, and it doesn’t slide around nearly as much as other back braces, which is satisfying. The larger size makes it more versatile for me to wear closer to my hips or higher on my waist as needed. Also, the support part in the back has a nice height so it covers more of my spine than many other braces I’ve tried.People like me who are used to trying & wearing back braces for chronic issues probably won’t need instructions, but anyone who’s new to the world of back support will find these instructions included with the brace to be a big help. There are both color pictures and text instructions, that are pretty clear and descriptive. That’s unusual these days, so I thought I’d mention it here.I don’t really care what color a brace is, but this pink color is a nice change from all the regular black or grey braces. I have a collection of braces for various parts of me, and the pale pink on this one makes it easier for me to spot and grab it out of my drawer! :)I’m hoping this well-designed brace will last a long time, because I wear them daily. I’ve been wearing this one all week, and it hasn’t let me down yet — but that’s not long enough for me to rate it with the full monty of 5 stars. I’m giving this brace my highest rating for a newer item, which is 4 stars. Thumbs up!

I have a family member who needs a back brace, as she has a lot of issues and will be undergoing surgery soon in order to help rectify her back issues. Back braces have helped her out, but she’s lost weight and needed something smaller. I selected this from Vine because if anyone could tell you if this was good, she’s the person.This fit her perfectly. It was easy for her to put on as well, which is always nice. It took her only seconds to don the brace. The sigh of relief she had when she put it on was extremely audible. She also loved that this was pink and grey. She would have still worn it even if it was the typical black, grey, or tan colors, but she liked that it was cute. This makes it easier for her to wear outside of clothing, if she didn’t want to wear some layers. Of note, it’s always better to wear the brace over a tank or some other thin type of clothing, as it helps with chafing and also just keeps the brace a bit cleaner for longer. The cute colors make it a bit easier to wear without being as self-conscious. You’ll absolutely know it’s a brace if you see it, but it being cute makes it a little easier to also see it as a bit fashionable, if that makes sense.This supported her well and she was able to cinch it in without it cutting off her air or being too uncomfortable. Quality-wise, it seems like it will last for a good while. She was also able to move around in it fairly easily.Price-wise, this is par for the course. There’s currently a substantial coupon that would make this almost half of its current price, so I highly recommend using that. The only thing we noted was that this got hot while she was wearing it, but that’s par for the course with back braces. Even the most breathable braces will get hot during the summer and she was also in a warm car at the time. You have to pick which you’re willing to tolerate – heat or pain.

I just love Rakiie braces and this one in particular feels like itâs made to fit my body!! It fits really well, is as comfortable as a back brace can ever be, and very, very adjustable so I can change the way it fits, depending on my needs at any given moment or any given day. I should probably mention that I have several back braces, and this one is my favourite for when my back is sore.First off, I got it in this beautiful purple, and it is such a pretty and cheerful shade. I love that it is an orthopaedic support, but it has the colour of whimsical lingerie.This brace comes with a removable lumbar support piece that can be held on the inside of the back, at the small of your back, with hook and loop. There have been times when I have found this type of lumbar support helpful, but when I just have a slightly sore back, or I want support to prevent a backache, I love that I can remove this lumbar support piece.This brace has a lot of boning in it. It is beautifully shaped and curved. Those braces adjustable, the way the curves are set up is so perfect for my body and frame. There is a little bit of a flexibility to the bones and they are really well soon into the fabric, so nothing pokes me. The end result is that the boning helps the brace hold its shape and really holds both my abdomen and my back in place. For me, the boning is comfortable in the support that it gives sometimes relieves back, soreness or fatigue, when that is just what I need.This brace has so many different ways to adjust it for fit and comfort. I love that because sometimes I wear under my clothes and other times I wear it over my clothes. I can adjust it in a few places to make it fit correctly. First off, the very large hook and loop over the abdominal area has so much space to navigate it larger or smaller. Secondly, the elastic straps that start at the back and go around to the front can be adjusted. I donât even know how to describe the adjustment, because they go through a looping system with buckles, and then a hook and loop, which secures them in place. These side straps are really great for me because they allow me to shape the brace around the size of my waist and hips. It gives me a real custom fit, and because itâs hook and loop itâs super easy to change it depending on how I am wearing the brace.The fabric of this brace is really comfortable, and somehow the way it is designed it does not catch on my clothes at all. Not even the hook and loop!!! It is so well stitched and reinforced. This is a really strong brace. It is so durable and so well-made.This brace gives a lot of support, and it is a heavier duty brace with lots of boating, so it does add a little bit of bulk when worn under clothing. That is how these braces are supposed to be, and as I mentioned above, sometimes I wear it over my clothing with a sweatshirt over top. It works either way for me.I just think this is such a great product, so well-made. And most importantly, it gives me the support that I need. When I use this, it really straightens out my abdominal area and my back and I feel so much better. I also find it useful to use for certain activities to prevent throwing my back out. And hold things in place so I canât move muscles incorrectly. For me, this is an essential part of my healthcare regime, and should this ever wear out I would not hesitate to order another identical one. It is so well-made I donât know if it will ever wear out!

Like many chronic back pain suffers, Iâve used a few of these back braces, but this is the first that (I have found) that takes the female form seriously in its design. I have struggled in the past to get the balance right in fit, between enough tension, but not so much itâs uncomfortable. This is mostly due to waist to hip ratio in females not being accounted for in the design of the belt.However, this belt is very female friendly, it flexes and curves around the waist and flares at the hips, fitting snugly just where needed. Once Iâve adjusted the compression side straps, Iâm pain free in the lumbar area and not so uncomfortable I need to release compression within the hour.If, as the day goes on, I experience any need to adjust the compression, it is so easy to do, as releasing the side straps doesnât affect the comfortable fit of the belt. I sized up with this order, but didnât need to, itâs true to size and has the benefit of a very good extension strap should anyone find itâs too neat a fit.Iâm impressed with this belt, the pain relief and support it brings me is a great relief. I would just say, I always know Iâm wearing a back brace, I feel them when I sit down, or try to bend and this one is no different. However, the comfort levels are as good as Iâve ever experienced when wearing a lumbar support. Itâs priced at the higher end of these products, but I would say offers value for money, as it is so effective.
