HOW TO USE. Spray directly on skin, covering all areas, and rub in until absorbed. Apply 15 minutes before sun. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming, and immediately after a towel dry.

Slight white cast but rubs away pretty easily
Bought this for a trip to Maui. I generally like Baby bum products, particularly mineral based sunscreens. There is a slight white cast, but not so terrible on my skin shade (I am asian) but might be different for someone darker skinned. I found the cast pretty mild and was able to rub it in to the point it was not noticealbe pretty quick.

Effective and Easy to Apply
This Baby Bum sunscreen spray works really well for our family. Itâs really convenient and effective. The spray combined with the light, liquid texture makes application quick and easy. Perfect when youâre trying to get sunscreen on active kids (or yourself) in a hurry! I was impressed that it holds up well even after swimming. It doesnât disappear right away in the water like some others do.The only thing to note is that the bottle is smaller than I expected. Itâs definitely travel-sized, which is great for tossing in a bag, but it does run out quickly with frequent use.

I love all sun bum products and this spray mineral sunscreen is exactly what I needed for a squirmy toddler. It works well and I feel confident that my baby is protected from the sun. Really love that it is a mineral base. It does love a white cast, this does not bother me, but if it bothers you I would look elsewhere.

Not bad but not a favorite
Baby Bum SPF 50 Sunscreen Spray is a fine sunscreen but not one of my favorites. It leaves more of a white-cast than most of the other mineral/physical sunscreens that Iâve used. It doesnât feel too heavy though so thatâs nice. Although it spreads well, it doesnât rub in well and leaves me with streaky white spots. I do love that it comes in a fragrance-free version because scents are a huge dealbreaker for me.At 3.4% Titanium Dioxide and 15.7% Zinc Oxide, it provides adequate UVB protection but potentially questionable UVA protection. Some people say itâs not about the percent of UV actives and instead claim that itâs just about the formulation, but there doesnât appear to be a strong conclusion either way.I do feel the need to clarify that just because this product is in a spray-form, that doesnât mean you just spray it on and go. In the chemical sunscreen world, yes, you could probably get away with just spraying and not rubbing it in. But in the mineral/physical sunscreen world, youâre going to have to have rub it in to properly protect your skin. The formula in this spray bottle is the same as the formula used in their roll-on bottle, so if the spray mechanism upsets you, perhaps consider the roll-on one. You still have to rub it in but it may feel more intuitive to roll it on and rub it in, than to spray and rub.
