Nothing worked for my bacne — until this
Worth trying for bacne — it solved my issue.I used to struggle with cysts, nodules, whiteheads, and blackheads, mostly on my back and occasionally on my shoulders. Sometimes it was painful and left scars that took a long time to heal. I tried everything — salicylic acid, AHA, benzoyl peroxide, adapalene — and followed all kinds of routines: applying products by hand, using a back brush, washing once or twice a day, even full skincare routines. Nothing ever worked. I also paid close attention to the cleanliness of my bedsheets, bath towels, and T-shirts, but it didn’t help.Then, about two months ago, an employee working in the cosmetic aisle of a well-known pharmacy suggested this product. While they weren’t a pharmacist, their advice turned out to be excellent. I’m now on my second bottle, purchased on Amazon, because I’m truly satisfied. My skin has cleared up completely. It feels deeply clean after each use, yet not dry — just smooth and soft. My pores are unclogged. No more pimples — not even a small one, whether deep or on the skin’s surface.It doesn’t foam much, but I think that’s part of the gentle formula. I apply it to wet skin, rub gently with my fingers until I get a rich lather — it takes some time — then rinse well with water. Sometimes I pat dry; other times I let it air dry.I’ve also been using it on my face, and it helps reduce pore size, control breakouts, and keep my skin moisturized (I have combination skin). The scent is neutral — just a clean, soapy, and fresh smell. It feels like a minimal, no-frills formulation designed to minimize irritation and preserve the skin barrier.Compared to many popular brands I’ve tried, this one is absolutely worth the price — especially if you’re struggling with bacne and other OTC options have failed. I was honestly amazed that such visible results came in just a week — from gentle ingredients you rarely see in dermatologist-prescribed treatments.

Gentle, non-stripping daily cleanser
This is a good neutral cleanser that works very well for combination skin. It does not strip the oils from the dryer areas (eyes, chin, etc) but manages to work well in the areas that get clogged easily (nose, T-zone, etc). There is a very gentle scent which doesn’t bug me at all it’s very neutral. This is a gel based cleanser that foams quickly and easily. It doesn’t aggravate my acne or cause redness and balances and cleans my skin well. Overall I really like this cleanser!

One of my faves
I love this cleanser! This is one of the only cleansers that keeps my combo, hormonal cystic acne prone skin clear while managing oil production. I keep coming back to it time and again. With regular use blackheads even are diminished. It’s got a pleasant scent and lathers even though it’s soap free. You only need about a nickel size of product each time you use. A sample bottle lasted what seems like an eternity so the full size will last a loooong time.It can make me feel a little dry at times, but it’s easily combated with a good moisturizer. I use either Embryolisse Lait Creme or Caudalie Moisturizing Sorbet depending on how dry my skin feels. I find that the minimal dryness after using is better than being an oil slick mess with breakouts and it doesn’t make me flaky.I would NOT recommend this cleanser if you have dry skin normally. As it is I mostly use this cleanser when the seasons change and the weather becomes warmer and my oil production is kicked into high gear.This cleanser also removes makeup insanely well. My face is always bright, smooth, and clean after using and feels refreshed.This cleanser won’t be for everyone but if you have oily acne prone skin I’d give it a try. Maybe try to find a sample bottle first, and definitely follow up with a good moisturizer that you know does not break you out.I love Avene’s products and I will continue to have this cleanser on hand at all times, even in the colder months when I don’t use often, it’ll clear up a breakout in a few washes.This is a lovely effective cleanser and I highly recommend it!

Fantastic facial cleanser for aging combination skin
I really wanted to find a cleanser that doesn’t contain sulfates and parabens. Avene Cleanance is gentle but extremely effective at cleaning facial skin without over drying, and doesn’t sting my eyes… also smells great!

È un prodotto validissimo tra tutti quelli che ho provato per la detersione del viso. Ho una pelle molto sensibile e la maggior parte dei prodotti che utilizzo sono troppo aggressivi e tolgono anche il grasso naturale della pelle, con questo mi trovo benissimo, la pulizia è delicata ma efficace al 100%! Normalmente prediligo prodotti naturali e questa sarebbe l’unica pecca, ma per chi non è schizzinoso come me (che comunque lo utilizzo da anni ormai su consiglio della dermatologa) lo consiglio!!

Seit Jahren kämpfe ich mit Akne und habe sehr fettige Haut. Mein Hautarzt empfahl mir neben meiner verschriebenen Creme auch das Avène Cleanance Reinigungsgel. Ich benutze es nun täglich morgens und abends und reinige mein Gesicht damit mit warmem Wasser.Das Gel ist unglaublich ergiebig und hat einen relativ neutralen Geruch, was ich sehr schätze. Für meine fettige Haut ist es sehr gut geeignet, da es gründlich reinigt, ohne die Haut auszutrocknen oder zu reizen.Die große 400ml Flasche hält bei regelmäßiger Anwendung erstaunlich lange, was das Produkt auch preislich attraktiv macht. Aufgrund seiner Effektivität und Ergiebigkeit kann ich das Avène Cleanance Reinigungsgel wärmstens empfehlen, besonders für Personen mit fettiger und zu Akne neigender Haut.
