A bit challenging to get the adapter on the tube, but works very well once you do
I have a lot of chronic pain, so i keep track of my blood pressure because the pain often raises my blood pressure a lot. I have a medline blood pressure monitor and this works great. It was a whole lot bigger than I expected, though. It wrapped around my arm almost twice. It inflated well, and has a really thick case of fabric around the part that inflated so it doesn’t get damaged or scratched (I dont mean it comes with a case, I mean that the inflatable part has a thick casing of fabric so it doesn’t pop.This is great for those who are big and tall. I’d say 250 lbs to 550 lbs, at least, depending on how your weight is distributed.It took me a second to figure out which adapter to use as the white piece and one gray piece both seemed to fit. But I tried the gray one and it worked well. It was not easy to get the adapter over the tube, so that makes me think you are not meant to remove the adapter once you put it on the cuff tube. I was unable to get it on all the way, but that could just be weakness in my back, so I will ask a friend to put it on all the way for me later.I tested it with the cuff that came with the monitor and got the same reading, so it appears to give an accurate reading.

Really âfittingâ option for those with bigger arms
My upper arm is 18 3/4 inches at its widest part, and this cuff fits me with lots of room to spare. I use the enclosed adapter to find when closest to my omron machine and it worked perfectly! It is easier to put on than the cuff that came with it. I even tried it on my husband who has a much smaller arm than I, and even though I had to kind of wrap it around twice it took the same measurement as it did with the normal range cuff that came with the machine., so Iâm pleased that there is accuracy with a standard size arm.However, with my plus size arm, the readings were not as accurate, which I find disappointing since this is for larger arms. What I did was, I took my husband and my sonâs blood pressure with my wrist BP machine I have and then took their blood pressure with this cuff on the ormon machine. On both of them the wrist machine read about 10° higher on both the systolic and the diastolic.. (I then compared my husband on the normal cuff that came with the Omron and then this one and there was no difference in the readings there.). however, when I took my readings, my wrist blood pressure cuff measured 10° lower on both systolic and diastolic than this cuff measured on the omron machine (and the wrist cuff was more accurate of my typical BP). This is quite strange to have such huge degrees of change in opposite directions. Also the original Omron blood cuff blood pressure was also very different than what I got with this one, unlike what happened with a smaller size armed.One variable that may be counting for this is due to the fact that getting my blood pressure taken hurts my arm so bad, so that definitely could count for spiking the BP overall. Regardless, I would highly recommend that you take this to your doctors office with you just to verify that youâre getting accurate readings. (to be honest thatâs true with any blood pressure machine or cuff that you get.)Overall, though I think this cuff did a great job and is a great option for those of us with bigger arms and for the price, itâs a great value.I also really appreciate that the Velcro stays in place while itâs pumping up the pressure! Doesnât even have a Velcro tearing sound indicating that it is struggling to hold. I also found it reasonably comfortable.4 Stars â Performs or is as described.

A relief to have on hand to ensure proper readings
Iâm relieved to finally have this blood pressure cuff on hand. I have tachycardia and hypertension and I regularly have to monitor my blood pressure and heart rate. My cardiologist has me give him regular reports so a home monitoring device is essential. I have been using a small cuff that came with my monitor against my better judgment. I finally stopped putting off ordering a larger cuff for my larger diameter arms. Having the right sized cuff is so important to receive accurate readings.This cuff is, indeed considerably larger than what you typically find on home monitoring systems. Itâs securely connects to and is compatible with my pharmacy store brand monitor. It has six different connectors for high compatibility. It is latex free for those who have an allergy. It is clearly marked with instructions on placement and how to use it. It feels comfortable to wear and has a quality hook and loop closure all the way down the length of the cuff for securing onto the arm. It also has a bracket included that helps with securing it. Iâve never had a bracket on home cuff before and now I consider it a must have. It functions great. It fits my arm really well and would continue to fit if my arm were to grow to a much larger diameter. My readings using it are consistent with those Iâve been receiving at my primary doctor a cardiologist. I am thankful to have this and feel reassured that my blood pressure numbers are being correctly monitored.

Larger arm cuff for blood pressure machine.
I received a blood pressure machine, but the arm cuff included was small. I ordered this larger one to fit my arm better. Works great! Very easy to use, just connect it to your machine with one of the 6 connectors (I only showed 5 because I already had one attached) that it comes with, wrap it around your arm (it might be just me but I always need someone to tighten it for me) and start your machine. It seems to give accurate readings. Would recommend.

Excellent blood pressure cuff! No more pain!
I am thrilled with this blood pressure cuff. The one that came with my blood pressure machine was painful and would make my hand tingle before it was done. This cuff solves that problem! It makes some popping sounds as it inflates, but does not hurt and still gives accurate readings.My favorite feature was that I was able to pop the hose off my old cuff and this one fit on it perfectly. It came with several adapters, but I didn’t even have to mess with that. I’m also glad we can use the same cuff for both my husband and I since it has a wide range of sizes it fits.If your current cuff is difficult or painful, I would definitely recommend giving this one a try!
