    Longevity for sure!
Easy to use out of the tube. I applied Vaseline around ears and neck area first so it won’t stain the skin, then the product, then let it sit for 1 hour, then rinsed off with cool water (no shampoo-ing), then applied conditioner, and finally blow dry. It did bleed everywhere so best to sleep on pillow cases you won’t care about. It does stain sink and bathtub if you don’t take care of the mess ASAP. I suggest newspaper all around while you apply it. Next time I do it I would prepare two set of gloves for when rinsing it out because it really stains your hands and to apply Vaseline to my upper and mid back so the skin won’t be stained.I wash my hair every 3 to 4 days and after two months, the product is still on! I do use blue shampoo to keep the color safe. The color still runs into my fingernails when I wash, staining it blue/purple, but easy to take care of. IT was a bigger mess the first couple weeks because running through my dry hair with my hands will stain it my entire hands. Would purchase again.I had brass faded-out ombre styled hair prior to this and the purple showed beautifully. Lots of compliments!

    Vibrant Color! (w/Tips for Application)
Before I explain my method to best to apply this color, let me say that I am NOT a professional colorist or hairdresser. This is simply what I’ve found works well.My natural hair color is medium brown, with a bit of gray coming in. The color I used was PURPLE and I applied wide steaks of color to my hair. I didn’t lighten prior to coloring, but on one occasion had used permanent brown color the day before. The result was a lovely, jewel tone violet. I’ve done it twice and am very pleased! As other reviewers noted, this process can be very messy. The following are a few tips to help control any inadvertent discoloration either during or after using Iroiro semi-permanent color:1. Prepare your hair – wash hair either earlier in the day And allow to dry completely or wash the day before; use minimal or no conditioner and NO styling products. This allows hair to “absorb” color to the fullest.2. Assemble Your Equipment – You’ll need a plain glass/stainless bowl to put the color into; a coloring brush is helpful for application, especially around your face; at least 2 pair of impermeable gloves (one for application, one for rinsing); shampoo and conditioner; clips, pins and/or a disposable shower cap to restrain colored hair; a towel that can either be bleached or is a color that won’t be ruined by excess color; plastic to cover any surfaces and/or your skin that cannot be exposed to chlorine bleach; and most importantly, a spray cleaner containing bleach (I recommend Lysol bathroom cleaner w/bleach). It’s also helpful to have paper towels and/or a cleaning sponge on hand.3. Application – Put the amount of dye you anticipate using into your bowl. If you like, cover your shoulders with an old towel or plastic sheet to protect your skin. You can also use the “clothing optional” method to avoid ruining your outfit. Wear one pair of gloves and apply color to your hair using your hands/color brush in whatever design you like (all over color, steaks, just the ends, etc.). If you drip color on to any surface it will stain, so use a quick squirt of the bathroom cleaner to stop the discoloration. If dye gets on your skin, use the cleaner applied to a sponge/paper towel to remove it.4. Let the Color Set – pin your hair up or use the shower cap to keep your wet/colored hair from transferring dye to any surfaces. Wait the recommended time; I let my dye set for 30 minutes per the manufacturer’s instructions. You can also add heat using a hair dryer on a low setting.5. Rinse – Put on your second pair of gloves prior to rinsing. Also, rinse by bending forward; allowing the excess color to wash over your body will discolor your skin! The best method is to use a handheld shower sprayer and lean over your bathtub. Rinse, rinse and rinse some more…until the water is mostly clear. This may take 10 minutes or more.6. Wash & Condition – Yes, this may lessen the intensity of your color a little. However, if you don’t remove the excess color, it will stain your clothing, bed linens, furniture and even bleed onto your skin when you sweat. Messy, destructive and embarrassing! You may need to wash twice (I do). Again, rinse until the water runs clear. Use conditioner as you normally would. Pat excess water out of your hair using an old towel or one that may be bleached. At this point, I had only very faint color bleed on my white towel. I sleep on white pillowcases and never had any color transfer, even though subsequent washes resulted in colorful suds.7. Style as usual. I recommend using a shine serum (such as Biosilk or Giovanni) to add shine and really make the color pop.Your initial result should be beautiful and vibrant. The one downside to this color is that it fades quickly. It’s noticeable after the first 3-4 washes and continues to diminish with each wash. All brands I’ve tried have about the same color lifespan, as they’re semi-permanent.Pros: Amazing color, smells great. I received many compliments!Cons: Application can be messy, fades fairly quickly.I hope this review helps. Have fun and live colorfully!

Vibrant, I recommend lightening dark hair first.
Just dyed my daughter’s hair. She has dark brown hair. I bleached it a few shades first, this purple is so vibrant. Beautiful!!

    Longest lasting purple I’ve found!
Long lasting! I’ve been dying my own hair for years and So far I love this brand for the purple. I’ve used it multiple times and it seems to be the longest lasting purple I’ve used. I did bleach my hair and roots before dying it with this. But here is a picture of when it is freshly done, vs what it looks like now over a month later with washing it about 2 to 3 times a week, color safe shampoo but I use hot water.I know not every hair is the same but I 100% recommend this brand. I love it!Pic #1 on march 9. Pic #2 and #3 april 15

Definitely for very light to blond hair
I thought this would work for black hair, however it did not. I belive that is my fault and not the product. However if you do get this product make sure to have Light brown and up because I’m very sure it won’t stain if it’s darker then light brown. The product smelled very good and left my hair very soft, however, it did not stain my hair due to being too dark. Instead it stained my scalp 😅.

    incredible!
the product smells incredible and the result is even better. i was about a level 7 and it was really yellow, but that didn’t stop this from giving me the most beautiful and most vibrant purple i could imagine. i dyed my hair with it about 2 weeks ago, and it’s still super bright! i have been washing with cold water, which definitely prolongs its color!

Love it! it stains really well! Worth every penny. No allergic reactions as I have had with other brands, the pack lasted me lasts ages and fades out nicely on my hair. Colour results will vary for each person.I always mix it with my conditioner. I add oils as well. Coconut and grapeseed are my favs. After I rinse the colour out, I condition my hair again for 5mins with ORS Olive oil replenishing conditioner.I have afro 3c ish hair, under cut, which I coloured copper red with bleached mid-lengths and ends. The colour enhanced the copper, as purple is the complimentry colour to orange on the colour chart, it took to my lighter coloured hair beautifully and fades dark to mid lilac over the weeks.Do base ur scalp, ears and hairline with oil or petroleum jelly, use an old tee-shirt or old towel around ur neck, use gloves and scrub bath and sink or anything it touches asap. You may need bleach to clean up after. Use a sulphate and parben free shampoo. I use ORS.As with most semis it does bleed until dry. But I find the colour lasts better than Adore or Crazy colour and I am so happy because I do not get any allergic reactions to this brand.Did not like the blue though because it kept fading to a light green on my hair. But I am going to buy the purple again and try some of the other colours soon,
