Keeps food fresh, portable, and priced well!
Bought this for our dog’s first long trip away from home. This held more than enough kibble for us and kept it just as fresh as our normal Vittles Vault that we use use daily. The design is clever: the top and bottom double as bowls, and everything is held together by the handle. You just gently pull one part of the handle to open it up. It’s fairly easy, but not so easy that it could accidentally open if knocked over or a kid got to it. I’m actually really surprised just how inexpensive this is!

    Tried and True Travel Container
I absolutely love this travel container and I am so happy to see that it’s still in production. I had one of these with a previous pet that lasted many years. With a new puppy, I’m thrilled to be able to have another one for her. This is one of the best travel food container sets out there. I love the size and durability of the storage section and the bowls. The bowls are very sturdy and are a great size for medium to large breeds. My girl is an Irish Wolfhound, so this won’t work for long trips eventually, but it’s great for puppyhood and short trips. It’s also a great way to make sure we always have a meal for her if we just keep it in the car or with our “go bags” for when we’re out of the house. The handle is easily removed (I have arthritis and I don’t struggle with it at all). The storage container holds a decent amount of food and I like that it’s reusable – no more plastic baggies. It also keeps food fresher than some other options. The bowls are great because they’re solid. I’ve had bad luck with the silicone collapsible bowls because they’re flimsy and prone to getting knocked over. Really glad to see this product still being made and still as high quality as ever.

    Big!
This is a simple and convenient travel food container. It has a wide opening for easy filling and cleaning. It holds a ton, so we’ll always have food on hand. We take our puppy with us everywhere and having food on hand is a must. The food is secured in a twist top container with 2 travel bowls neatly attached to use for food and water. We’ve been carrying around food in a baggie but after an incident with him clawing the bag, we had a big mess in our vehicle. He can’t get into this. It’s big but if you have a big dog or multiple dogs, this is a lifesaver! This is perfect for us.

Absolutely ingenious carrying case for food (up to 8-9 cups), or less and treats and even a toy. All in one place easy to carry.
Awesome Vittles Vault Home Travel-tainer. I bought Blue. It holds about 8 cups of kibble. Has two – two cup dishes with it. The black plastic (heavy duty) “D” Ring keeps the whole thing together. When I first got this I was impressed by it’s design. If I was hiking or camping this could hook right to my backpack with no issue, always ready to be used by my pup. Awesome little device, something I wish I had patented or even invented. In mine I have 6 cups of food although it will hold 8-9. I also have a cow hoof, two beef tendons and a tail in there also for treats. I really love this product finding it a great way to send your dog or cat to camp with all the food they will need for a weekend along with some treats and an easy way to carry it.My wife and I are taking a trip to Phoenix soon with our service dog and this will come in very handy to transport all her needs (besides her water) in one place and all attached to my backpack. It will be awesome I can tell already. My service dog goes to training camp every one to two weeks (on the weekend) to learn new things as well as retain the old training she’s had already. This comes in very handy. We just put in her food, treats and chews as well as one of her fliers. Screw the black lid back on the jar, put the bowls on each end and clip them on with the “D” ring. About 3 pounds of food, treats and toys all in the same place, with an easy carrying handle. I highly recommend this product as it has come in very handy and will be our go to bowls and food carrying container for all our trips to Phoenix and Denver with the dog.

    Great for car travel
Pros:Very convenient. We have a 100lb+ dog, and this holds enough for two full days feeding. We just keep it in the back of the car when we are traveling, and feed our dog one cup for lunch. We use the other bowl for water which we take in a separate container. Works well.Cons:The plastic bowls and the plastic containers are difficult to separate when at the beach (sand), or when they get hot and expand.Overall, for the money, it’s well worth buying.

    Travel’s a breeze.
These travel food containers are awesome for dry food. The bowls are a little small for my dog, but it’s still a great design, and I’ve used the bowls when I needed to!Airtightness:Keeps food fresh

Fits food/treats and a standard tennis ball, also a suggestion for working dogs
I am very satisfied with the purchase, check out the pictures! My dog eats 2 cups daily (for a 3 day supply of food this was perfect)I will be using this as a 72 hour kit, it made me happy to see how well made it was and there was more room than needed. I did notice that while measuring the container was a half in shorter than the 7.5 inch length described, this wasnt an issue because I still had room to add treats and a standard tennis ball.Pros:*Very snug fit, I dont think any moisture will seep inside.*Holds as much, if not more than, advertised*Bowls are slippery/slick inside for easy cleaning,*bowls are about 2 inches deep, will hold a lot of food*Container easily carried with two different carrying options, the handle which latches to the bowls or the black container lid, both which arent meant for serious work.*light weight, with food/treats and a toy, didnt weigh more than 5 pounds***For working dogs: my dog could easily fit the exterior handle in her mouth and carry it around, this item could potentially hold other items and have dog safely carry around (EX: nuts, bolts, screws, etc)Cons:*Container handle looks sturdy, but doubt it will would hold up to a lot of use (the bowls fit very snug against the food container, shouldnt be an issue).*Dimensions look off, not an issue for me*I didnt expect how big it would be! even though the dimensions are listed, it could cause a problem for a tight situations.

I love it! I ordered 2 of these for our drive home from FL and it worked great! I was able to fit in 8 cups of our Natural Balance food, which is enough for about 3-4 days. I have an American Eskimo and it was a perfect size for her. The other dog that came home with us was an English Retriever puppy and it fit about 3 days worth of her food. When I got home I ordered one for a relative that was also making a long drive – I highly recommend it! The only thing you need to remember is DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER (see pic, lol). I forgot and put it in and it shrunk! I could not find out where to order just the container so I had to order another one. I originally ordered pink but the blue was on sale when I re-ordered so now I am able to use either the pink or blue cups when I travel (they didn’t get ruined in washer). I love it for short trips in the car when I don’t want to go into the big bag!
