Excellent pet comb for those tender areas
I originally bought this comb to help clean the area the around the eyes of my 2 shih tzus. It does it a great job. Iâve since used it to clear small pieces of debris around the mouth area, in between toes and other areas that a normal metal grooming comb misses. The comb is very well made (good grip area, teeth are very sturdy, smooth to the touch, and the end of each tooth is rounded – no snags and wonât cut/scratch the skin). The graduated length of the teeth on the outer sides makes it very safe to use it around eyes, noses, lipsâ¦. In my opinion it is worth the price. Easy to clean, run it under hot water and use a tooth brush to clean between the teeth, when needed

Good size for you and kind to your dog
This is a game changer! I swapped from using a small, comb like implement to this one. My dog has stopped flinching as this one has rounded corners, is big enough in the hand to be easily maneuvered, and does not hurt him. Also it does an excellent job of cleaning the hair around his eyes! I recommend this comb.

Finally, a tool that helps eliminate the exudate that develops in the corners of my Poodle & Bichon fur babies. Tried using the soaking solution with cotton pads. Fluids increased the staining areas, plus took more time than an impatient Bichon puppy will tolerate.The comb is gentle, designed correctly (gentle mid-comb curve) with soft flexible tines. I don’t hesitate to use near the eye area as tines are close together & not sharp. Great for the day-to-day grooming that is necessary to keep my “kids” tidy & healthy.
