I’m obsessed with this scent! It’s woodsy and fresh and I love it!
I’ve tried a few heat protectant sprays and hated the way they made my hair feel. I also didn’t like the way they sprayed. The ones I previously tried were all pump nozzles and I felt like it just sprayed way to heavy and was hard to control. While I prefer to stay away from aerosol cans, I decided to give this one a try due to the fact that that it not only protects against heat up to 450 degrees but also protects against UV and pollutants. It also contains hyaluronic acid and vegan peptides to help hydrate and nourish your hair. I was also hopeful that it would be easier to control the spray due to it being an aerosol.The first time I used this spray, I sprayed it all over my damp hair by flipping my head over and spraying the underneath of my hair and then flipped my hair back and sprayed the top. I did not skimp on the spray purposely to see what would happen as other sprays have made my hair feel almost stiff and made it so difficult to get a brush through it.The first thing I noticed was the scent of this spray. It’s absolutely heavenly!! I have another hair product and a lotion that has the same kind of scent and those products are all described as having a woodsy scent and so this is how I would describe this scent. It’s woodsy and fresh and leaving your hair smelling wonderful! I was so happy that it lasted a while too. While the scent is definitely there, I didn’t find it over powering at all and I’m normally really sensitive to scents. I was actually shocked to see other reviews from people saying they didn’t like it or that it’s over powering, it’s really not.After spraying my hair I then dried it and while I can’t speak on how well it protected my hair as I don’t think there’s anyway to really tell if it’s working until you’ve used it for quite some time, I did immediately notice a change in my hair. My hair looked so much nicer after drying it than it normally does. It wasn’t at all frizzy which is usually a huge problem for me. It almost seemed like my hair had more volume and just overall looked better.I’m so impressed with this spray! My only issue with it is the price of it. At the time of writing my review, this spray is being sold for $36.00 which is crazy to me. I’ve never spent that much on one hair product ever. If this spray was around $20.00 I would still consider that on the expensive side but would still be okay with spending that. I don’t know that I could ever justify spending this much for a heat protectant spray even if it works amazingly well. While I’m not a fan of the price, I’m not going to lower my review at all since it’s my own personal preference to not spend this much on hair products. That just means that I’m not the target audience for this product even though I love it. Now if this product lasts a long time like many months, then I would be willing to spend this much as that would make it more worth it.Overall, I’m super impressed with this spray and absolutely love it! If It ever goes on sale, I would definitely order more. If you’re looking for a good heat protectant that also protects against UV and pollutants and also is good for your hair, order this spray! You will love it! If you’re someone that doesn’t like woodsy scents or scented hair products, then this spray may not be for you.

This Sun Catcher Power C Nourish+Refresh Styling Spray is extremely versatile and I love that it provides multiple benefits in one bottle. I’ve found it to be perfect for my hair gor the summer. It protects against heat and UV rays making it a great spray if youre going to be out in the sun or simply heat stlying. It minimizes the frizziness I experience from humidity and doesn’t weigh my hair down like alot of other sprays do. It has a very earthy scent, if you smelled any R+Co products you’ll recognize it, its a fresh woodsy scent which has really grown on me. It doesn’t leave any residue on my hair and doesn’t make it feel stiff. Its actually quite hydrating for an aerosol spray which surprised me. I apply a few sprays after I towel dry and detangle my hair, right before I blow dry, and it does a great job at giving my roots a little bit of volume and minimizing any frizz. I also use a couple sprays after I put my hair up in a ponytail to keep it sleek and protected. Since it doesn’t make my hair look greasy I use a few small sprays anytime I change hair styles in between wash days, it keeps my hair smelling and feeling refreshed. So far I have loved using it and would absolutely recommend it if you are looking for a protecting spray!

Nice protecting spray, but pricey
I love trying products from R+Co, so I had to give this one a shot. It’s a nourish and refresh styling spray that includes Vitamin C and protects your hair from UV rays and from heat styling up to 450 degrees. I know I could use that, so here we go.First I noticed that it comes out in aerosol form, which I pretty much never do, but it seems almost necessary to get the light “mist” effect all over your hair without weighing it down with a heavy pump spray. The scent is light, citrusy, and woodsy and it blends well with my other natural products’ scents. I don’t so much heat style my hair, but I do use a medium heat hair dryer each morning, and I know that’s doing damage, so I hope this spray can help. I’m also in the sun every day and the top of my hair gets so much lighter, so I will really be putting this product to the test.You can apply it to damp or dry hair. First I tried applying it to dry hair, simply because I forgot to apply it before drying, and I noticed it provided more of a texture spray effect, which can be useful to my super fine hair. It was not too sticky or gummy–it just left a slight texture that was easy to work with. When I apply it to damp hair, I pretty much don’t notice that it’s in my hair at all. I then add a few spritzes after I have my hair styled and put up in a bun.It seems like it is a good protecting spray, but the cost is way too high for me to continue with consistent purchases. I think for a product that doesn’t provide strong hold, it should max out at $25, not $36.
