    Yes, pure and simple.
I have multiple children with ADHD and I wish I had had this book for each of them when they were younger. I purchased this after checking MANY books and reading ENDLESS reviews, for my 11 year old daughter. This book will be easy for her to use, with a little help due to dyslexia, and I believe she will benefit from it in place of therapy as we wait to get some extra help for her. This book covers a lot of areas such as self discovery with ones own ADHD, recognizing emotions and how to work with them vs letting them control you, action and reaction, bedtime rituals, making realistic plans/goals and so on.Yes, get this book.

The quality of the content, the friendly and accessible language, and the engaging activities all contribute to making this an excellent resource. The workbook effectively helps children self-regulate, focus, and succeed while making the process enjoyable. It’s heartening to see my son actively participating and benefiting from the exercises. This book is an outstanding aid for helping children and their parents navigate the challenges of ADHD.

Amazing book to work with your adhd child
My child has been angry and frustrated that she is so different from everyone else. I got this workbook and we sat and worked through it together and it completely changed her perspective about her adhd and helped her realize that the it comes with struggles but also it is what gives her so many strengths. I highly recommend this book for any kid with adhd. It was a great bonding / quality time experience to go through the workbook together but it is easy enough for her to do in her own also. She is 8. For children younger than 8 you would probably want to work through it with them but it would still be very helpful.

My 10 Year Old LOVES this book
I got this book for my daughter to use as a tool for her ADHD/ADD and Anxiety combined, particularly in school where she has the most issues. I must say it is beautifully illustrated, written and published. The language is easy to understand and my 5th grader had no problem navigating the book by herself. This is about the 3rd workbook I brought of the 100s I researched and it has by far been the best. I love the positive and empowering tone of the book. The activities engage the child, builds understanding, skills, self awareness and consciousness. I left in on kitchen counter and by the time I went to tell my daughter about it she had already picked it up, looked through it and was looking forward to working on it. We have done some pages together but she is able to self guide and direct herself. If she is in school and struggling she finds the section related to her current issue and either completes the pages or reviews them. It has helped her focus better just in that she wants to get her class work done so that she can use the free time to work on the Workbook. She has already asked for a second one to refill once she complete this one. To be honest as an adult the struggle with ADHD/ADD combined I almost want to get a copy for myself. I would recommend this book to anyone that ha a child with ADHD or ADD, especially if that child is struggling with the self image from it. This book will definitely empower them.

Kids immediately excited to look through
Left this on the couch after opening the package, came back to the book being flipped through and flagged for ideas to try right away.Written in a way that interests kids and preteens, making them excited to try the strategies and techniques – which let’s be honest makes all the difference between possible success and no chance.

    This book is amazing!
As a homeschooler, I wanted to check this out for some ideas. Immediately I was sucked in by the graph paper drawing breaks. I think I shouted at my fiancé.The lessons are great, self importance, self love, understanding of self and others. She speaks directly to the child completing the activities also which is refreshing. It’s a perfect touch for teaching a child about how their mind works.Love the book. Recommend the book.

Not for an 11 Year Old
First, I must say I do like this book. However, my son thought it was too “kidish”. I could see this working with 6-9 years old. Maybe 10, but no age past that unless they are delayed. It did have a great kid explanation for what ADHD is and how that makes you different but not in a bad way. It has SHORT quizes and such to assess your type of ADHD, what symptoms you have, activities to build self-esteem in the child, tips for learning how to do well in school and other areas of life. For a younger child, I would highly recommend this book.

As a parent it can be difficult sometimes in the day to day chaos to remember children with ADHD don‘t function the same as those without. With this book not only did my child begin to understand themselves but as a parent it also gave insight and served as a reminder that, yes there are differences, those differences can be managed so that they are not resulting in negativity.Additionally I would highly recommend the „anger management for kids“ workbook in this series. It is an absolute must especially as many children with ADHD tend to struggle in regulating this particular emotion.
