Game-Changer When Used with Solar Buddies!
I bought ThinkKids sunscreen because I was on the hunt for something that scored well on Yuka (this one got an impressive 93/100!) and didnât leave a white cast. After testing it out, Iâm really happy with the results.A little goes a long way, which is greatâbut when applying by hand, it does take a bit of rubbing to fully blend in. That said, the white cast does disappear, leaving just a light, sheer layer on the skin. It didnât feel overly sticky either, and once it dried, my skin actually felt soft and moisturized!Now hereâs the real kicker: I paired this with a Solar Buddies applicatorâand HOLY COW. Total game-changer. It went on smooth, mess-free, and instantly rubbed in with no white cast, no greasy palms, and no wasted product from having to wash my hands. The combo of ThinkKids + Solar Buddies is a dream team for fast, clean sunscreen applicationâespecially helpful with squirmy or impatient kiddos eager to jump in the pool!The ingredients are clean, it works well for sensitive skin, and it provides solid sun protection. While itâs a little pricey for a 3 oz bottle, itâs still more affordable than some others on the marketâand it lasts a while if used efficiently.Highly recommend this sunscreenâbut even more so when paired with Solar Buddies. Loved this sunscreen for my toddler!
Iâve been using this on my almost 2 year old daughter and I absolutely loved how well it worked. She has very sensitive skin, and this sunscreen didnât cause any irritation at all. It feels gentle, has no strong smell, and itâs easy to apply even when sheâs wiggling all over the place (moms, you know what I mean ð ).

Great reef-safe, easy-to-apply sunscreen (comparison of three ThinkSport products)
I will start by saying that I am used to traditional non-mineral sunscreens and tend to only buy physical/mineral-based sunscreens when I’m going to be in a tropical ocean and need something reef-safe, though more and more kids sunscreens are shifting to mineral-based. After quite a bit of research I settled on ThinkSport for my family’s recent trip to Hawaii, and I’m very pleased with it. I brought and used three types of Thinksport sunscreen: Thinksport Kids lotion (yellow/orange and teal squeeze bottle), Thinksport adult lotion (Black, white, and orange squeeze bottle), and Thinksport adult spray (black, white and orange spray bottle). All protected us from sunburn and rubbed in to be invisible as long as skin was dry and free of visible hair (visible whiteness persisted around my husbands facial stubble and chest hair). The only difference between the kids lotion versus the adult lotion is scent–the kids version has a fruitier, more tropical but not-too-strong scent (possibly coconut and something else? it was hard to identify) that I found unobjectionable (though one if my kids wasn’t a fan), and the adult lotion had a lighter, less sweet, more citrus-y scent (my son though maybe lime and mint, but I’m not sure that’s accurate) that I LOVE. The adult spray had no discernible scent, so I suspect the kids spray might be fairly unscented as well. The easiest to apply by far was the spray–it sprays on white, but feels very light, rubs in easily, and becomes invisible quickly. I was a little worried about whether it could possibly be effective given how light and thin it felt, but it was! The lotions weren’t thick for a lotion (but much thicker than the spray) and went on easily, but took more rubbing in to disappear than the spray (this is consistent with my experience with lotion vs spray in traditional sunscreens as well). Invisibility was harder to get after a second or third application or when skin was damp, but all-in-all I found all three Thinksport products to be superior to other mineral-based sunscreens I have tried in the past. In the future I’ll probably buy the adult thinksport spray for my kids and husband (who all much prefer a spray-on sunscreen) and the adult thinksport lotion for myself (because I love the scent and don’t mind rubbing it in).

Great Alternative
After much research for a non toxic sunscreen for our children, this fit the bill. Itâs dye free, has a nice smell and works! Itâs a bit thicker than the oily sunscreen we are used to but goes on smoothly.My only reason for 4/5 stars is because we use it so often, we have to order it more frequently. I wish it was offered in larger sizes bottles.

Iâm absolutely loving this mineral sunscreen! The zinc oxide is such a game-changerâit provides excellent protection from both UVA and UVB rays without the harsh chemicals. What I really appreciate is that itâs non-irritating, perfect for my sensitive skin, and it doesnât leave that heavy, greasy residue. Plus, it doesnât give me that dreaded white cast that some other mineral sunscreens do. Zinc is also a natural anti-inflammatory, so it calms my skin, and I love that itâs reef-safe, too. Itâs just a perfect blend of effective sun protection and skincare. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something gentle yet powerful!

The product itself very good – especially from the hazards ingredients point of view. It is also moderately white on the skin. So the behaviour – is as I expected. But LOL, the price is crazy! Especially when I know how much it costs on the US market
