A Great Product!
A really good and bright color! It smells amazing and lasts for a while. It makes my hair feel soft after use. The only downside is the amount of product, but otherwise itâs great!

I’ve been a loyal devotee of Pravana Vivids for nearly 15 years, but I decided to change it up recently when their green was out of stock. I was a bit nervous because Pravana had been the only brand that consistently worked with my hair type and trying other brands had historically led to only failure. Fortunately, Danger Jones blew me away! It applied with incredible ease and saturated my hair thoroughly without having an excessively chemical smell. The results were true to color and brilliantly pigmented. I never thought that I’d see the day, but I think I’ve officially been converted!

This Hair Dye Doesn’t Even Cover Half of a Head of Short Hair!!!
The Danger Jones Poolside Hair Dye is Worthless!!! This Hair Dye Didn’t Even Cover Half of my Daughter’s Head of Short Hair!!! The parts that did get some dye were splotchy and uneven! I wish I could get my my money back for this dye because it didn’t work at all!!! I ended up having to go and purchase another brand of blue hair dye in a beauty supply store in my town to fix the mess in my daughter’s hair. She wouldn’t go out in public with the Danger Jones Hair dye mess in her hair. It only took half of the bottle of the other brand to cover and fix my daughter’s hair. I wouldn’t recommend using the Danger Jones Poolside dye, there wasn’t enough in the bottle to dye even half of head of short hair. Don’t waste your money on this dye, use something else! I sure wish I didn’t buy this dye because it was a total waste! It would sure be nice if I could get my money back on this product since it was completely useless!

Caution
I prelightened my hair. I used 2 bottles of Danger Jones because I have long hair. It barely left a tint on my bleached hair. A waste of time and money. I am not going to give up. I will try it again in the future, after my hair recovers from bleaching.I will say, I love the colors on the boxes. I am Gen X and am fully embracing my grey hair, so I will try this product again. I had asked a woman at a grocery store what color did she use. The grey in her hair looked awesome which is why I tried this product. I am assuming that my hair was too stressed and I pushed too hard to get pretty grey hair. ð¤·ð»ââï¸

it really is that patchy
I got pavement and lightened to… maybe around a level 8 or 9? And pre-toned my hair (trying to get a neutral grey). The color itself is true. The smell was nice and i liked the consistancy of the dye. However… it does come out incredibly patchy. It may be user error (i’ve never toned my hair before, i did follow the instructions), but considering the other reviews, i don’t think so :”) I’m really really disappointed, i really wanted to like this one.EDIT: adding a star for customer service outreach — was offered a full refund

Great unil it wasnt
Uh washed out completely after 1st wash. Left it in for over an hour, and waited a few days for 1st wash. And so beautiful and exactly the color (antique) that I wanted…but so sad it washed completely away…next time I will do a glaze/gloss after and hope for the best?

Color lighter than the swatch, but still pretty
For fragrance and consistency, as well as coming out incredibly even I am giving 5 stars. It came out pastel though and not at all darker like the swatch. I got Burlesque. I lightened to a 9. It’s a beautiful color, I just don’t know how long it is going to last, being this pastel. I might mix some of it in my conditioner to make it last longer, honestly, because despite being lighter it’s very pretty. I do like the color, just wish it was a tad bit darker, but honestly maybe I did something wrong? I’ve been coloring my own hair for 20+ years, but there is always a time when you flub up, so you never know.
